Job description

ABOUT FRESHPAINT: Healthcare is a $4+ trillion industry in the U.S. alone, and it’s undergoing a rapid digital transformation. Hospitals, digital health companies, and life sciences organizations rely on analytics and advertising tools to reach patients, measure performance, and grow. But those tools weren’t built for regulated healthcare data. That creates real compliance risk and forces teams to choose between growth and privacy. FRESHPAINT ELIMINATES THAT TRADE-OFF. We’re a privacy-first data platform that helps healthcare organizations use modern marketing and analytics tools without exposing protected health information (PHI). Freshpaint sits between a company’s website or app and the third-party tools they use, automatically detecting and controlling sensitive data before it’s shared. In short: we let healthcare teams move fast, safely. BACKED BY TOP INVESTORS Freshpaint is backed by some of the most respected names in technology, including: - Y Combinator (OpenAI, Stripe, Airbnb, Coinbase, DoorDash) - Intel Capital (Broadcom, Astera Labs, VMware, RedHat, MongoDB) We’ve raised tens of millions of dollars in funding to build the privacy infrastructure layer for healthcare’s digital future. Who we’re looking for Freshpaint helps healthcare companies collect, safeguard, and activate customer data so they can run modern analytics and marketing while staying HIPAA compliant. We are a high-slope, high-EQ team that moves quickly, takes ownership, and puts customers first. We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Manager who can own a portfolio of complex healthcare customers, drive measurable outcomes, and grow revenue through thoughtful, consultative partnership. You are as comfortable in strategic conversations with executives as you are deep in product adoption metrics. You thrive in an early-stage, remote environment where you have real ownership, build repeatable processes, and run toward fires instead of away from them. What you’ll be doing You will own the full lifecycle relationship for a book of strategic customers. You will help them navigate the healthcare data privacy landscape, adopt Freshpaint deeply across their stack, and expand their use of our platform over time. You will be directly responsible for net revenue retention across your accounts by driving adoption, renewals, and expansion while keeping customer outcomes at the center of every decision. Primary responsibilities - Own net revenue retention and ARR across a book of ~25–35 strategic customers. - Build and execute account and value plans that drive product adoption, measurable outcomes, and expansion. - Lead renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, running a disciplined commercial process from early signals through close. - Run structured executive check-ins and QBRs that tie Freshpaint usage to business impact and future roadmap. - Use Freshpaint, Looker, and HubSpot to monitor health, forecast accurately, and prioritize where to engage. - Partner cross-functionally (Support, CSE, Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Sales) to remove blockers and unlock new value. - Serve as a trusted advisor and voice of the customer, building deep relationships with champions and executive sponsors. - Travel up to 30% for onsite visits, conferences, and Freshpaint events. Desired skills & experience - 7+ years in customer-facing, commercial owning roles in B2B SaaS (Account Management, Customer Success, or similar) working with Enterprise customers. - Proven track record of driving adoption, renewals, and expansion, with clear impact on net revenue retention. - Strong consultative skills: you uncover business problems, define success metrics, and map required capabilities to product value. - Data-driven and operationally excellent, with disciplined account planning, forecasting, and CRM hygiene. - Technically curious and comfortable translating between marketers, product managers, data teams, engineers, and executives. - Excellent written and verbal communication, including running business reviews and presenting to C-level audiences. - Thrives in a remote, early-stage, high-growth environment with high ownership and many moving pieces. Nice to haves - Experience working with customer data, analytics, or marketing technology products. - Experience working directly with healthcare organizations such as Providers, Payers, Dental Support Organizations (DSOs), or Urgent Care groups. - Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, or other regulated industry frameworks. - Experience with analytics tools or warehouses (for example, Looker, Tableau, Snowflake, Redshift). - Exposure to common go-to-market frameworks such as MEDDIC or Command of the Message. PERKS & BENEFITS We take care of our team—here’s a peek at what you get when you join: - Competitive pay + generous equity - Half-day Fridays, every Friday - 16 weeks fully paid parental leave (eligible after 6 months; commission-based roles receive 100% base salary during leave) - Flexible PTO with a required 2-week minimum - Top-tier health, dental & vision (100% covered for you, 80% for dependents) - Intentional & engaging company offsites (past trips: Arizona, Jackson Hole, Nashville, New Orleans & more) And more!
