Note: Partly is headquartered in Austin, TX with offices in London, UK, Christchurch, NZ and Auckland, NZ. If you're relocating to join us, we can also assist with relocation costs.
🚀 OUR STORY
Partly is building the infrastructure for anyone to repair anything. We believe everything built should be repairable, and we're building frontier AI to put repair knowledge to work, starting with the $2tn automotive market.
Our model, Interpreter, is the first AI purpose-built to understand repair. Trained on 1M+ car models and 1B+ parts, it reads a repair job the way an estimator does, resolves damage into the exact purchasable part, and shows its reasoning with a confidence score. On real production jobs, an estimator working with Interpreter reaches 98.8% parts-list accuracy, against 92.1% with today's tools. It powers PartlyRepair, used by collision shops, workshops and suppliers to take the admin off the job; PartlyLabs, the agentic infrastructure enterprises use to deploy Interpreter across their own workflows; and a developer API.
Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, we've raised a $50m Series B led by DST Global (Anthropic, Airbnb, Meta, TikTok, Spotify), with Blackbird Ventures, WNDR, Activant Capital, Icehouse Ventures, Square Peg, Airtree and Ecliptic Venture Capital. Hear it from the team: Why Partly exists partly.com and AI at Partly partly.com.
🖍️ THIS ROLE
As Partly's Account Manager, Appraiser you’ll work directly with customers and vehicle claims appraisers to map Partly’s value and solve real day to day problems to them into long-term programmes, Build off Partly’s Interpreter.
You will own the customer relationship end to end: setting up pilots, measuring what changes, and building the evidence that wins the workflow. You'll be the person the customer calls, and the person who brings their reality back to our Product team.
Why join now: Partly closed a $50M Series B led by DST Global and is scaling fast across the US, UK and Australasia, in a $1.9 trillion industry that modern software has barely touched. You'd be early, close to the founders, and given real ownership from day one.
If you've worked auto claims or appraisals and want to change how repairs and parts get handled at scale, this role is built for you.
💻 WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Run pilots and programs end to end. Plan the rollout, train teams, get the pilot live on time and own a successful outcome.
- Prove the value. Agree success measures with the customer, track them weekly, and report results in terms claims leaders care about: cycle time, accuracy and cost.
- Own the relationship day to day. Be the trusted contact for users of the product.
- Resolve issues to ground. Work directly with Product and Engineering on data, integration and workflow problems until they're fixed.
- Convert and expand. Build the case for moving from pilot to programme, and spot where the account can grow.
- Bring the insurer's voice inside. Turn what you see in claims workflows into clear input for Product and our business development team.
🥷 YOUR SKILLS
- US auto claims or appraisal experience, ideally as an independent or staff appraiser, adjuster or claims lead.
- Know the claims workflow, from first notice of loss to repair or total loss, including estimating and parts decisions.
- Project ownership. You've run rollouts, pilots or programmes with clear outcomes and deadlines.
- Comfortable with data. You track results yourself and can explain them to a senior audience.
- Credible with technical teams. You can describe a data or workflow problem precisely enough for an engineer to act on it.
- (Bonus) Experience at an insurer-facing software company in a customer success, implementation or account role.
Please note: if you don't have all the skills or experience listed above but believe you could be outstanding in this role, please still consider applying. Many people count themselves out. We'd love the chance to learn more about you and why you're exceptional.
