Title: Electro-Optical and Mechanical Assembly Duration: 12 Months Location: Mckinney, TX, 75071 Pay rate: $24.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM Roles and Responsibilities: • Do Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions. • Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment. • Maintains inventory of production workstations. • Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects. • Assembles, reworks and/or repairs assemblies and products according to engineering specification changes. Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. • Maintains a clean and safe work area. Physical Demands • Requires standing, sitting at workstation, use of computer, use of alumalifts and hoists, installing assembly materials above the head, and lifting no more than 25 lbs by hand. Must Have • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred Skills: • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment. Experience with electro-optical and mechanical assemblies. • Experience working in a clean room environment.
