Job description
ABOUT IDEOGRAM
Ideogram’s mission is to make world-class design accessible to everyone, multiplying human creativity. We build proprietary generative media models and AI native creative workflows, tackling unsolved challenges in graphic design. Our team includes builders with a track record of technology breakthroughs including early research in Diffusion Models, Google’s Imagen, and Imagen Video. We care about design, taste, and craft as much as research and engineering – shipping experiences that creatives actually love.
We’ve raised nearly $100M, led by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures. Headquartered in Toronto with a growing team in NYC, we're scaling fast, aiming to triple over the next year. We're a flat team with a culture of high ownership, collaboration, and mentorship.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Ideogram is hiring a Creative Technologist: a hands-on builder with exceptional visual taste who can operate as a small, AI-powered creative studio inside our marketing team. You'll take ideas from concept to launch on your own: landing pages, campaign assets, product demos, pitch materials, and the AI-powered workflows that let a small team do the work of a much larger one.
You'll also be one of Ideogram's most important internal users. By using our product every day to make real marketing work, you'll help shape what we build, show the world what's possible, and bring a sharp, informed perspective on the generative AI landscape to everything we ship.
This is also a public-facing role. You'll help run some of Ideogram's social channels and show up as yourself on your own, engaging with our community and acting as an ambassador for the brand and the product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and launch landing pages. Design, develop, and continuously improve landing pages and microsites.
- Create exceptional visual content. Produce compelling assets for campaigns, product launches, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Build AI-powered workflows. Leverage AI agents and automation to scale creative production and marketing execution.
- Develop compelling stories. Translate Ideogram's technology and product capabilities into engaging copy, narratives, and campaigns.
- Support sales and partnerships. Create pitch decks, product demos, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
- Drive product launches. Develop creative assets, messaging, and campaigns that bring new features and products to market.
- Experiment and optimize. Rapidly test creative concepts, messaging, and landing pages to improve engagement and conversion.
- Scale our creative capabilities. Build reusable templates, automated workflows, and creative systems that help a small team accomplish more.
- Be an Ideogram power user. Use Ideogram regularly to create real marketing assets, explore creative possibilities, and push the product's capabilities.
- Provide actionable product feedback. Act as an important internal user, working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to share insights and help improve Ideogram.
- Showcase what's possible with Ideogram. Discover and demonstrate inspiring product use cases that engage users and highlight the product's creative potential.
- Manage and grow our social channels. Create and publish content, join conversations, and help run Ideogram's social presence on platforms like X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Engage with our community. Interact with creators, customers, and fans across social and community spaces like Discord, celebrating their work, answering questions, and gathering feedback.
- Be an Ideogram ambassador. Build and use your own personal channel to share your work, your process, and what you make with Ideogram, representing the brand authentically.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Exceptional visual taste. Strong understanding of design, typography, composition, branding, and visual storytelling.
- AI-native mindset. Hands-on experience using AI agents and automation to execute creative and marketing workflows.
- Builder mentality. Ability to independently take ideas from concept to launch, moving quickly and experimenting continuously.
- Strong creative portfolio. Demonstrated ability to produce beautiful, compelling visuals and digital experiences.
- Copywriting and storytelling skills. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and develop engaging marketing narratives.
- Technical fluency. Comfortable using modern design, development, and automation tools.
- Growth mindset. Interest in testing creative ideas, measuring performance, and improving results.
- Product intuition. Ability to identify opportunities for product improvements through hands-on experimentation.
- Startup mentality. Resourceful, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team.
- Familiarity with visual AI tools. Experience exploring different generative image and video tools to bring fresh ideas, creative inspiration, and an informed perspective on the AI landscape.
- Social fluency and community presence. Active on social media with a personal channel or body of work you're proud of, and genuinely comfortable engaging publicly with a community. You understand what works on each platform, and you enjoy being a visible, authentic voice for a brand.
NICE TO HAVE
- Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or similar technologies.
- Experience building AI agents and automated workflows using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or n8n.
- Motion design, animation, and video production capabilities.
- Familiarity with growth marketing, SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization.
- Product marketing experience, particularly with creative tools or AI products.
- Experience working with designers, creators, and creative communities.
- An existing audience or track record of community building on social platforms.
- Experience managing brand social channels or running creator and ambassador programs.
