Job description
ABOUT HANDSHAKE
Handshake was founded on a simple belief that everyone deserves a path to a great career, regardless of where they went to school or who they know. Today, we power 25 million job seekers, 1 million+ employers, and 1,600 educational institutions.
In 2025, we started Handshake AI and built the fastest-growing AI data business in history. We work directly with frontier AI lab researchers to create evaluations, publish benchmarks, and push the boundary of data. We've grown from $0 to ~$1B run rate and pay ~$60M to over 30K individuals every month. Now, we are bringing the same capabilities to grow the Enterprise business.
Why join Handshake now:
- Shape how every career evolves in the AI economy, at global scale, with impact your friends, family and peers can see and feel
- Partner hand-in-hand with world-class AI labs, Fortune 500 partners and the world's top educational institutions
- Work together with engineers, scientists, operators, and more from Palantir, Meta, Scale AI, and former YC founders
- Build a massive, fast-growing business with billions in revenue
ABOUT HANDSHAKE AI
Human data is the core infrastructure to AI advancement. Frontier AI labs currently improve model capabilities with various data-intensive post-training techniques. We believe that data spend for AI training will increase by 3-5x in the next few years and continue for much longer as models take on new domains. Handshake AI supports all of the frontier AI labs, working on their most complex data at the largest scale.
We're now bringing that same rigor to the enterprise. Handshake AI moves enterprise agents from pilot to production, in a repeatable way, through quality infrastructure such as evals and rubrics, simulations, safety and security testing, and model optimization that encodes an organization's own expertise into durable, sovereign IP the customer owns, at the optimal cost. We work with Fortune 500 leaders to close the gap between AI pilots and production-grade deployment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be the end-to-end product marketing owner for Handshake AI Enterprise business, the connective tissue between product, sales, and the market. You'll translate deep technical work into positioning that lands with enterprises, then arm sales with everything they need to close and grow those relationships. This is a build-from-scratch seat: you'll set the GTM playbook for a business growing fast.
- GTM Strategy: Partner with Product and Sales leadership to shape long-term product and GTM strategy by synthesizing customer, competitive, and market insight into clear executive recommendations. Codify the frameworks, launch templates, and messaging systems the broader team reuses.
- Positioning & Strategy: Build end-to-end positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy, keeping it unified with Handshake's broader career-network story rather than siloed as a separate business.
- Content & Thought Leadership: Create content and thought leadership pieces for external awareness, and figure out how to promote them across the website, social, and other channels.
- Sales Enablement: Build the assets sales needs to sell Enterprise AI into Fortune 500 accounts such as competitive battlecards (backed by ongoing competitive analysis), pitch decks, use case examples, and other collateral.
- Use Case Prioritization: Prioritize which enterprise use cases and industries to go after based on market and customer insight.
- Event Marketing: Collaborate with the field marketing team (which has dedicated enterprise reps) on which enterprise-specific events to attend and how Handshake AI shows up there.
YOU HAVE
- 6+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related B2B marketing discipline
- Strong foundation in positioning, messaging, and content creation, including website and social
- A track record of 0-to-1 program building — comfortable with ambiguity, working independently without a perfect brief, wearing multiple hats, prioritizing, and scaling based on data
- Ability to influence at all levels, including executives
- Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder launches
- Experience building sales enablement materials, including competitive positioning and technical demo content
Bonus points:
- Experience in AI training data field
- Technical fluency, including experience partnering directly with technical stakeholders
- Experience marketing to enterprise B2B buyers — ideally in AI/ML infrastructure, data, or a related technical category, with exposure to Fortune 500 sales cycles
- Experience in demand generation, growth, partner marketing, or full-funnel marketing at a startup
