Job description

ABOUT CORRIDOR oftware development is becoming autonomous. The fastest teams already work this way, and at Corridor, we are leading athe way on secure development as the rest of the industry follows. Security tools were designed for a world where a person wrote the code and a person reviewed it. That's changing quickly. Corridor is securing software factories. We are the security solution for software that builds itself at every level of autonomy. We are preventing vulnerabilities as agents write code, and guiding teams to help decide what's safe to ship. We're a talented and growing team, led by Jack Cable linkedin.com (Former CISA - Secure by Design) and Ashwin Ramaswami linkedin.com (Former CISA, Stanford, and Schmidt Futures). Corridor is backed by Conviction, with a $25M Series A led by Felicis and our customers include ElevenLabs, Lovable, Mercor, and Langchain. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN PROBLEMS LIKE THESE? - Building systems that can understand, analyze, and work with large amounts of code and context. - Figuring out how to make AI coding agents more reliable and secure. - Building infrastructure that can process code and AI-generated changes at scale. - Working out how to turn complicated security problems into products developers actually want to use. - Building a product where the underlying technology is changing as quickly as the product itself. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Build and ship core product and platform systems, from architecture through production. - Take ownership of complex problems and figure out the right technical approach with a high degree of autonomy. - Design and build scalable backend and distributed systems, while working across the stack when needed. - Build and productionize AI systems using LLMs, coding agents, and reasoning models. - Work directly with customers to understand how they build software and use those insights to shape what we build. - Help shape our architecture, engineering practices, and technical direction as the team grows. - Work closely with the rest of the engineering and product teams in a small environment where you can have a direct impact on what gets built. - Move quickly and ship. We care about solving the right problem and getting it into customers' hands. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - You're an experienced engineer who still wants to write a lot of code and build things yourself, rather than moving into a purely managerial role. - Strong experience building and shipping production software, with particular depth in a range of languages eg. TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, Go, Rust. - Strong backend and distributed systems experience, with an understanding of how to build systems that are reliable and can scale. - Good product instincts. You can take an ambiguous problem, work out what matters, and turn it into something useful. - Comfortable making technical decisions independently and working without a lot of process or direction. - Experience with modern infrastructure such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, and ECS/Kubernetes. - Experience building and putting AI systems into production, including LLMs, coding agents, reasoning models, prompting, fine-tuning, or evaluation. - Interested in the intersection of AI, developer tooling, and security. - Strong communicator who can work effectively with engineers, product, and customers. - A track record of owning projects from initial idea through implementation, deployment, and iteration. WHY CORRIDOR? - Help define one of the fastest-growing categories in software. AI is transforming how code is written, and we're building the security layer that enables it. - Solve hard, meaningful problems. Work on novel AI, security, and developer experience challenges without an existing playbook. - Make an outsized impact. As part of a small, ambitious team, you'll have real ownership and see your work directly influence customers and the future of the company. - Be independent of the foundation labs. We are entirely independent of the foundation labs. Our goal is not to sell you tokens, and certainly not to over-hype or create fears about AI. We're practical! We empower security teams using open and closed models, local and cloud agents. ABOUT OUR LEADERSHIP - CEO Jack Cable cablej.io is a top-ranked bug bounty hunter who previously led Secure by Design at CISA. - CTO Ashwin Ramaswami linkedin.com is an engineer who has built large-scale systems at Skiff, Caldera, and Nooks, and has published research in AI and foundation models at Stanford. - CSO Alex Stamos linkedin.com is the former CISO of Facebook, Yahoo, and SentinelOne and a current lecturer at Stanford University. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY Corridor is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, reproductive health decisions, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We're looking for someone open to working in a hybrid environment - 3 days per week in our South Beach, San Francisco office.
