Every person and every business connected to the Global Financial Internet. Built on Mural.
That's the world Mural is building. This role is one of the hands on the brush.
About Mural
Mural is regulated financial infrastructure across the US and Latin America. The whole stack, one partner. Companies build cross-border financial products on us using our API. We carry the licenses, the compliance, and the failure states, so they go live in weeks instead of months. Under the hood, fiat and blockchain run as one system. Their customers never see any of it. Money comes in, money goes out, and it just gets there.
We've processed over $2 billion across US dollar, stablecoin, and international rails. That includes USDC and USDT on major blockchains, ACH and wire in the US, and local rails across Latin America and Europe (PIX, SPEI, Bre-B, CBU/CVU, SEPA). Customers include Deel, Bolt, Opera, Koywe, Taxdome, Uniswap, Movii, and more . Forward-deployed engineers deploy with your team until you're live, and Mural's agentic teammate stays after. We've successfully raised our Series A. And we're an AI-native company. Agentic tools are how we build, operate, and scale.
The Role
Everything Mural ships is technical: licenses, custody models, real-time rails, KYB and KYC, Know Your Agent, an MCP server, a checkout that clears purchases for humans and agents. Everywhere Mural shows up, it has to be plain: the website, social, email, the product, the docs, the sales deck, and Mural's agentic teammate, who speaks for us to every customer every day. The gap between those two sentences is this job.
You will own how Mural's products are explained, everywhere they are explained. You report to the CEO and work directly with the CTO, the engineers shipping the product, and the brand team. You will hold the voice, the vocabulary, and the truth gate: nothing we say is ahead of what is live.
The bigger picture is the one you will be writing into existence. Money is becoming software, and the next generation of commerce will be transacted by agents acting for people and businesses. Someone has to be the compliant system of record those agents connect to, with a verified identity, a permission, and an audit trail on every action. That is Mural's bet, and it needs a narrator who can make it concrete: not "agentic payments" as a slogan, but what an agent's account looks like, what clears a purchase, and why a CPO at a fintech should build on it this quarter.
What You'll Do
• Own the copy for every surface: website, product, docs, email, social, decks, and launch posts. Write most of it yourself.
• Turn every shipped feature into a story, in one sentence and in one page, the day it ships. The changelog entry, the LinkedIn post, the email, and the sales one-liner come from you.
• Write the voice of Mural's agentic teammate. It is a forward-deployed teammate, not a chatbot. How it explains a failed payment, an RFI, or a new product is product marketing, and it is yours.
• Hold the voice and vocabulary across the company: what we say, what we never say, and how "infrastructure" travels into Spanish.
• Run the truth gate with Compliance. Every external claim passes legal review, and you make that fast instead of slow.
• Build the narrative for the agentic future with the founders and carry it into everything from the Product page to investor updates.
• Ship in Spanish as well as English, with the team in Latin America.
Who You Are
• 3 to 5 years in product marketing, at least part of it at a startup where you were the whole function.
• A writer first. Your samples are copy people actually read: landing pages, launch posts, docs, emails. Short sentences, real nouns, no adjectives doing a number's job.
• You can read an API reference and explain it to a CFO without losing what is true.
• You're AI-native. Agentic tools are how you already draft, research, and ship, and we will ask you to show us.
• Big plus: you speak Spanish natively. Most of our customers and their customers are in Latin America, and the site, the product, and our agentic teammate will all speak Spanish. If you can write it as well as you write English, you are ahead of every other candidate.
• Strong pluses: fintech or infrastructure marketing, developer marketing, and a point of view on where agentic commerce is going.
What Success Looks Like
• A CPO reads one page of the site and can say what Mural does and why it is different, in their own words.
• Every launch ships with its story on the same day, on every surface, in one voice.
• Mural's agentic teammate sounds like Mural everywhere it speaks.
• Compliance clears copy in hours, not weeks, because you wrote it to pass the first time.
How We Work
We run on three principles.
2% better, every day. One percent for yourself, one percent for the people around you.
Telos. From the Greek word telos, meaning not just done but fulfilled. Everyone here is focused on one mission and knows each other's Telos.
Build. We build AI-natively and we build to win. AI is a teammate. Do something manual once, then automate it. Speed and parallel execution are structural advantages, and we use them.
We're builders all the way down. Code is a medium, like paint. We choose honesty over polish and never claim what isn't true. We obsess over boring details, because trust is built in RFIs, refunds, and response times. And we hire for curiosity. It's a bar, not a poster.
The Process
• Intro screen
• Writing exercise: a real feature brief shared 24 hours ahead. You come back with a page, a post, and the agentic teammate's version of it.
• Onsite: a product decomposition session with our CTO, a narrative session with our CEO, and a culture conversation with the Growth team.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive cash base salary
• Meaningful early-stage equity
• Health insurance
• 401(k)
• Visa sponsorship available
Location
New York City, in person.
We named this company Mural because murals have always told the story of a community. They are made by hand, made together, painted onto the foundations of a place, and meant to outlast the people who started them. Every person who joins brings a new piece.
Now let's build a force of nature business, together.
