Job description
You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.
As an Application Engineer within the Google Cloud Business Platform (GCBP) organization, you will play a pivotal role in scaling workflow automation by bridging ServiceNow with internal First-Party (1P) systems and secondary CRM platforms. Google engineers are at the forefront of developing next-generation technologies that change how the world interacts with information; in this role, you will apply that same engineering discipline to the ServiceNow ecosystem.
You will independently design, develop, and deploy custom-scoped applications, optimize agent interfaces, and build robust bi-directional integration pipelines using asynchronous (Cloud Pub/Sub) and synchronous (gRPC) protocols. By managing these end-to-end integration tasks independently, you will ensure ServiceNow functions as a tightly integrated, secure extension of Google’s internal operations while upholding the highest standards of code quality and software engineering.
Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
