Job description

Vendelux vendelux.com is building the category-defining platform for event marketing intelligence. Events are one of the largest and most impactful marketing channels, yet historically one of the least measurable. Vendelux brings transparency and performance to this space — helping companies discover, evaluate, and optimize their event strategy with data. Our platform powers thousands of event decisions by delivering proprietary, AI-driven insights across hundreds of thousands of events globally. At the core of our platform is a robust ecosystem of event organizer partnerships — where organizers share first-party data, enabling richer insights for customers while receiving benchmarking and audience intelligence in return. From identifying the highest ROI conferences to enabling targeted meeting programs, Vendelux helps companies turn events into a predictable and scalable growth engine. In addition, Vendelux Meetings extends our platform by turning insights into pipeline — using AI to identify high-value attendees and proactively book 1:1 meetings between our customers and their ideal prospects at events. This enables go-to-market teams to drive measurable ROI and maximize every event interaction. Founded in 2021, Vendelux is a Series B SaaS company backed by top-tier investors including FirstMark. We partner with many of the fastest-growing companies in the world, and our team includes leaders from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, FanDuel, Compass, Airbnb, Forter and beyond. ________________ We are hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive new logo acquisition as we continue to scale the Mid-Market motion at Vendelux. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by consultative selling, competitive sales cycles, and helping marketing and revenue leaders turn event strategy into measurable business outcomes. You will own opportunities from qualified pipeline through close, partnering with prospects to uncover business priorities, navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and show how Vendelux can drive pipeline, revenue, and event ROI. This is a high-impact role on a growing sales team and a strong fit for someone who is competitive, curious, coachable, and excited to help build in a fast-paced startup environment. This role is hybrid, 3–4 days a week in our NYC office depending on your location. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own and close new Mid-Market opportunities from qualified pipeline through negotiation and signed contract - Partner with SDRs while also building self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting, event-driven outreach, and account-based strategies - Run consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles by developing a deep understanding of each prospect’s event strategy, business goals, pain points, and buying process - Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce - Represent Vendelux at industry conferences and events to build relationships, generate pipeline, and increase market presence WHO YOU ARE - 2+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS sales (experience selling to Marketing and Growth Leaders a plus) - Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales quotas - Experience selling to C-level decision-makers and managing complex sales cycles, including multi-threading, procurement, and negotiation - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Hunter mentality with a passion, and demonstrated success, for securing new logos across new categories - A strong team player but still a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment BENEFITS - Competitive base salary and bonus - Equity - Healthcare covering medical, dental and vision - 401(k) - Catered lunch every day in our NYC office - Unlimited PTO plus two company-wide shutdowns during the July 4th week and the Christmas – New Year's week Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok!
