Job description

Description Help build the next stage of Insycle. We’re looking for a hands-on operating leader to lead people and execution across sales, marketing, customer success and service, helping turn our established product and customer base into a repeatable growth engine. You’ll translate company priorities into practical plans, develop people, and establish effective ways of working. Working closely with the Founder & CEO, who leads product and company direction and remains involved in commercial strategy, you’ll own day-to-day business operations and team leadership, with meaningful authority over operating decisions, hiring within agreed budgets, and implementation. You’ll build and lead the team, identifying the capabilities we need, hiring talented people, and coaching them to succeed. You’ll set clear expectations, provide feedback, and work alongside employees and specialists to deliver results. We’re based in New York and flexible about in-office and remote arrangements. Candidates should be based in the Eastern or Central time zone. Company Overview Insycle builds data integrity infrastructure for the agentic CRM. More than 700 customers trust our tools to resolve duplicates, standardize data, manage imports, and connect related records in platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce. Those tools fix what’s wrong today. But clean data is a moment. Data integrity is a system. Our platform helps businesses define what right looks like in Blueprints, continuously apply those standards through Data Logic, and use Observability to understand where data conforms, where it drifts, and whether it stays aligned over time. As AI agents increasingly use CRM data to make decisions and write changes back, that foundation becomes essential. Businesses need reliable inputs and a system that detects when people, integrations, workflows, or agents move data away from their standards. We’re a B2B SaaS company with an established customer base and a much larger ambition: to make data integrity foundational to how businesses operate with AI. Why join Insycle • Build on something real. Work with an established product and more than 700 customers while helping shape the company’s next stage. • Pursue a meaningful opportunity. Help businesses build the reliable data foundation that people, automation, and AI agents depend on. • Have a direct impact. Influence how we acquire customers, deliver value, hire, and grow. • Build and develop a team. Recruit capable people, help them succeed, and create an environment where they can do their best work. What you’ll own Execution across the customer lifecycle • Coordinate sales, marketing, customer success, and service around a connected customer journey. • Turn commercial priorities into campaigns, outreach, sales activities, and customer programs. • Use acquisition, conversion, activation, adoption, and retention results to identify opportunities and improve execution. Hiring and people leadership • Help determine hiring priorities, define roles, and drive recruiting from sourcing through assessment and selection. • Build onboarding plans that help new employees become productive and independent. • Set clear expectations, coach employees, provide constructive feedback, and address performance gaps directly and respectfully. Business operations and delivery • Turn broad objectives into practical plans with clear owners, milestones, and measures of success. • Lead projects through implementation, adoption, and ongoing improvement. • Resolve blockers, make everyday tradeoffs, and raise risks early. AI agents and business automation • Identify practical ways AI can improve customer success, sales, marketing, and everyday operations. • Create and use AI agents with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar business tools to help the team research, prioritize, and follow through. • Check the quality of AI outputs and refine instructions based on real-world use. Requirements • Meaningful experience in customer success, service, or sales, with enough cross-functional understanding to assess work and manage execution across the customer lifecycle. • Experience directly hiring, managing, and developing a small team in a hands-on environment, ideally in B2B SaaS or a similarly technical, customer-facing business. • A track record of turning business priorities into completed initiatives and lasting operational improvements. • Comfort learning a technical product and understanding customers’ workflows and business needs. • Strong practical proficiency with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar business tools, including hands-on experience creating AI agents and repeatable workflows. • Willingness to work hands-on while developing the people and processes that enable the business to grow. How we work We care about customer outcomes and drive problems toward resolution. We investigate, understand the underlying need, and keep learning. We take initiative, follow through on commitments, and communicate risks early. We favor the simplest reliable solution, improve through feedback, and treat colleagues with warmth and respect. We value people who contribute their judgment, challenge assumptions constructively, and commit to an agreed direction. What success looks like • The business develops repeatable ways to acquire, activate, retain, and grow customers. • Team members understand what they own and have the coaching and authority to deliver. • Customer commitments and internal initiatives move forward reliably, supported by practical processes and AI agents. Compensation and benefits • Annual base salary of $150,000-$180,000, depending on relevant experience and location. • Performance-based bonus. • Equity through stock options. • Medical, dental, and vision insurance. • 401(k) with a 4% company contribution. • Paid time off, sick leave, flexibility for unexpected needs, and paid holidays. How to apply Share your résumé and LinkedIn profile and three brief examples: • Execution: An initiative where you translated business direction into results through a team. What did you personally own, and what changed? • Hiring and people management: The size and roles of teams you’ve directly managed, how you found and assessed new hires, and an example of helping someone improve through coaching or feedback. • AI implementation: An AI agent or workflow you personally created using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools. What problem did it solve, how did you check its outputs, and what difference did it make? A few sentences for each is enough. We’re interested in your personal contribution and what you learned.
