This role will focus on validating mission-critical system integrations and end-to-end data workflows through a combination of manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate has strong API testing experience, a passion for quality engineering, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance test cases. • Perform positive, negative, boundary, and error-handling testing for REST APIs and system integrations. • Develop and maintain automated test scripts, with a strong emphasis on Python-based automation. • Validate end-to-end workflows involving APIs, SFTP file transfers, database updates, and system-generated outputs. • Analyze data movement across multiple systems and ensure accuracy throughout the process. • Validate JSON request/response payloads, headers, and HTTP status codes. • Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects while collaborating with development teams to drive resolution. • Support continuous quality initiatives and help expand automation coverage over time. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of software quality engineering or testing experience (strong candidates with 3–4 years may be considered). • Hands-on experience with API testing and application integrations. • Experience creating and executing test cases independently. • Proficiency with Python scripting and SQL/database validation. • Strong understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), status codes, and JSON request/response structures. • Experience validating end-to-end system workflows and data processing.
