Job Description We are looking for an experienced Networking Software Engineer to support the development and integration of networking solutions for Starlink connectivity with Panasonic Avionics in-flight entertainment (IFE) platforms. The engineer will design, develop, integrate, and validate networking software and configurations, with strong hands-on expertise in routing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Golang. The role works closely with architecture, product, development, integration, and test teams in an Agile/Scrum environment across the full software lifecycle, from requirements and design through testing and release. Key Responsibilities · Design and develop networking software and solutions supporting Starlink and IFE system integration. · Develop and enhance routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN functionality, including software components and services in Golang. · Implement software configuration changes and integrate with existing infrastructure. · Perform unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing; document test results and validation findings. · Develop and maintain automated tests using pytest or similar frameworks. · Integrate software into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and follow source-code management and branching practices. · Troubleshoot networking and software integration issues in development and rack/test environments. · Participate in architecture and design reviews and provide technical recommendations. · Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, architects, developers, and test engineers to refine requirements, epics, and user stories. · Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide regular development and integration status updates. Mandatory Skills · 6+ years of relevant software development experience. · Strong hands-on networking software development experience with routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs. · Strong Golang (Go) development experience. · Experience with Git/GitLab, source-code branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. · Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, automated testing tools, and static code analysis. · Good understanding of software design principles, object-oriented development, and interfaces. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Good to Have · Wi-Fi networking; Linux networking and troubleshooting. · C/C++ development; Kubernetes and containerized application/networking experience. · Python/pytest automation and SDK/API integration. · Hardware/rack-based system integration and testing. · Network troubleshooting and packet-level analysis. · Software configuration management. · Exposure to DO-178 and avionics software development processes. · Satellite connectivity, LEO networks, Starlink, aviation connectivity, or IFE systems experience.
