AI Engineer at oWOW · Match Moth

Job description

AI is changing how companies work. But great AI products aren't built by throwing a chatbot on top of a problem. They solve real challenges, fit seamlessly into existing workflows, and continue delivering value long after launch. As an AI Engineer at OWOW, you'll help make that happen. You'll join a team of 35+ Wizkids across development, design, product, and strategy. A group of curious, ambitious, and talented people who genuinely enjoy building things together. We challenge each other, learn from each other, and celebrate wins together. There's a lot of knowledge in the room. And a lot of laughter too. At OWOW, you get a lot of freedom and autonomy in how you approach your work. We trust you to make smart technical decisions and take ownership of them. That flexibility also comes with responsibility. You manage your time, your quality standards, and your impact. No micromanagement; ownership. We're looking for an AI Engineer who can bridge the gap between business challenges and technical solutions. Someone who understands both the opportunities and limitations of AI. You'll work directly with clients to uncover where AI can create real value, design the right solution, and bring it into production. One day you might be building an AI agent that automates a business process. The next, you'll be creating a knowledge assistant that helps employees find the right information instantly. You'll design the architecture, build the integrations, deploy the solution, and improve it based on real-world feedback. If you're excited about AI, enjoy solving complex problems, and want the freedom to shape how AI products are built, you'll feel right at home here. Let's build the next generation of digital products together. Our AI engineering toolkit TypeScript & Node.js (NestJS) | Python | Mastra | LangGraph (or similar agent frameworks) | PostgreSQL & pgvector | LLM APIs | AWS & Bedrock | REST APIs | Docker & CI/CD | Knowledge Graphs (nice to have). The exact tools vary by project. We're less interested in whether you've used a specific framework and more interested in your ability to make sound engineering decisions and learn quickly. Requirements • 3+ years of software engineering experience, with strong experience in our tech stack and hands-on experience building AI-powered products. • Based in the Netherlands, available for hybrid work from Eindhoven. • Fluent in English or Dutch. Experience with Mastra, LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, pgvector, or knowledge graphs is a plus. What we offer you in return • Ownership of meaningful AI projects, from discovery and architecture to launch and optimisation. • The OWOW Way of Working (OWOWWOW): Freedom and flexibility in your working hours, work location, and days off. • A competitive salary. • Pension plan. • Potential long-term equity opportunities. • Travel and work from home allowance. • Hybrid working options. • A company laptop. • Lots of freedom to take ownership and seize opportunities. • Time and support to develop your skills and stay ahead in the fast-moving world of AI. • Delicious lunch with great colleagues when you're at the office. • A health coach for your body and mind. • Friday afternoon drinks, team activities, and occasional parties. • An awesome office located near Eindhoven Central Station. About OWOW OWOW (Omnipresent World of Wizkids) is a digital product agency that designs and develops web platforms, mobile apps, e-commerce experiences, and AI-powered products for ambitious organisations.
