Job description
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, testing, and deployment of our global backbone network. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic team environment, leading and executing large-scale network projects across all phases, including testing, design, planning, and deployment.
Additionally, this role requires hands-on experience in a lab environment to qualify network platforms and network operating systems (NOS). You will also develop custom automation tools to enhance test coverage, improve test case effectiveness, and streamline network validation processes.
Solid understanding of. LAN/WAN technologies and protocols
In-depth experience with TCP/IP, ISIS, BGP and MPLS protocols.
Experience with systems, integration, validation and testing of complex hardware and software products.
Proficient in building test cases for a different network platforms and NOS.
Experience in testing network devices, related tools, dependent systems, Applications and dependent infrastructure.
Extensive hands-on experience with carrier-grade network technologies and vendor including Cisco, Arista and Juniper.
Experience supporting large-scale backbone network with knowledge of comple traffic engineering, traffic engineering and internet routing protocols.
In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols, including TCP/IP, IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS.
Hands-on experience with multivendor network platforms.
Experience qualifying network hardware and their respective network operating systems (NOS).
Proficiency with network testing tools and traffic generators, such as Ixia and Spirent.
