• Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects built with Java, Spring Boot, and React. This means I’m responsible for planning everything from day one, making sure we execute properly, and delivering quality solutions on time across multiple projects happening at the same time.
• lead development teams day-to-day, run our sprint planning and standups, and make sure we hit our deadlines and deliver what we promised. I keep the team focused on what matters and unblock them when they get stuck.
• Work closely with backend developers to design and build Spring Boot microservices and Java systems that actually work well. We talk through architecture decisions, make sure the code is solid, and build APIs that the frontend can use cleanly.
• Coordinate with the React and frontend developers to make sure their work connects smoothly with the backend systems. When they build the UI and we build the services, they have to work together seamlessly, and that’s my job to make sure that happens.
• handle resource planning—figuring out who does what and when. I also spot technical risks early, keep realistic timelines, and watch the budget to make sure we’re spending money wisely.
• Give regular updates to management about where projects stand. I tell them what we’ve accomplished, how the budget looks, where we’re tight on resources, and what we should do next.
• Run team meetings where we talk about what got done, what’s blocking progress, and what we need to fix. I make sure everyone stays aligned on priorities and understands what the business needs from us.
• Talk to the business side about what they need. I take those requirements, turn them into tasks our developers can work on, and make sure everyone understands what we’re building and why.
• Make sure our code quality stays high, our testing is solid, and our releases go out smoothly and reliably. Nothing goes to production without going through proper checks.
• Help develop junior engineers on the team, look over major technical decisions, and constantly push us to work better and faster. I want to build a team that’s collaborative and excited about what they’re building.
