Summary : The Product Development Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the development of new products from concept to creation. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong sense of design and crafting knowledge/understanding. In addition, drive, detail orientation, flexibility are also key attributes to consider when stepping into this role. Key Responsibilities : Describe the job's essential duties and responsibilities using clear, declarative statements in priority order. Responsibility • Collaborates with the Product Development Coordinator to understand and interpret product concepts. • Develops poly, cushions, and cutting patterns with precision and efficiency. • Makes and maintains product specifications for each new style. • Works with outside vendors to coordinate product materials for new styles and one-time customs. • Conduct thorough quality assessment at each stage of the development process to ensure adherence to design standards and specifications. • Stays abreast of industry trends, materials, and techniques to continually enhance product quality and innovation. • Works closely with each department to ensure seamless execution of the product. • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints. • Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
