Recruiter at Axcera · Match Moth

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and highly proactive Recruiter to join Axcera and take real ownership of our hiring. This role is for someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. We’re looking for a recruiter who can independently identify what needs to happen, set priorities, drive processes forward, and make sure hiring managers and candidates keep moving. You’ll be trusted to own your work, make decisions, challenge existing ways of working, and continuously look for smarter and more effective ways to recruit. Axcera is a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly. You need to be comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and accountability, while still maintaining structure and a high quality bar. AI and technology should be a natural part of how you work. We expect you to actively use AI and modern recruiting tools to improve sourcing, research, candidate assessment, communication, administration, and overall recruiting efficiency, and to continuously explore new ways technology can make us better. Key Responsibilities Own recruitment processes end-to-end, from intake and search strategy through sourcing, interviews, offers, and closing. Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates, with search and direct outreach being a core part of the role. Take ownership of your roles and independently drive processes forward without requiring constant direction or follow-up. Partner closely with hiring managers, keeping them engaged, aligned, and accountable throughout the hiring process. Maintain a structured and organised approach across multiple searches, candidates, priorities, and stakeholders. Continuously challenge and improve how we attract, assess, engage, and hire talent. Use AI, automation, and modern recruiting technology to work faster, smarter, and more effectively. Identify bottlenecks or problems early and proactively take action to resolve them. Move quickly while maintaining a high bar for skills, mindset, culture, and overall company fit. Deliver consistently against our hiring needs and business priorities. Who We’re Looking For Proven experience owning recruitment processes within SaaS, technology, startup, or similarly fast-paced environments. Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities, including identifying and engaging hard-to-find talent. Comfortable working independently and taking full responsibility for delivering results. Highly proactive — you see what needs to happen and take action rather than waiting for instructions. Structured and organised, with the ability to manage several recruitment processes and priorities simultaneously. Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working directly with hiring managers. Comfortable challenging existing processes and introducing better ways of working. Tech-savvy and genuinely interested in using AI, automation, and new technology as part of your everyday work. Commercial and results-oriented, with a strong understanding that successful recruitment is ultimately about delivering the right people to the business. Comfortable operating in an environment where priorities change, decisions happen quickly, and everyone is expected to contribute beyond their immediate responsibilities. Experience working as a consultant, contractor, embedded recruiter, or in another delivery-focused environment is considered an advantage. What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by impact. Ultimately, recruitment success means successful hires, consistently bringing the right people into Axcera at the pace and quality the business requires. You’ll be expected to take ownership of those outcomes and continuously find ways to improve how we get there. You build strong pipelines, keep hiring managers and candidates moving, identify problems before they become bottlenecks, and continuously improve how we recruit. You use AI and technology to increase both speed and quality, bring new ideas rather than simply following existing processes, and take real accountability for hiring outcomes. At Axcera, we value people who take ownership, move fast, stay curious, and constantly look for ways to improve. Come in, take ownership, challenge us, improve how we work, and deliver great people.
