Job description

📣 LAUNCH YOUR SALES CAREER AT TOPLINE PRO We don't think a sales job should just teach you how to hit a number. It should teach you how to become great at sales. That's what this role is built to do. As a BDR at Topline Pro, you'll join a team designed around learning, coaching, competition, and growth. You'll learn how to prospect, run discovery, demo our product, manage a pipeline, negotiate, and close business. More importantly, you'll learn how to take feedback, diagnose where you're getting stuck, and continuously get better at your craft. You don't need years of sales experience to be successful here. We're much more interested in how you learn, how hard you're willing to work at something, how you respond when things don't go your way, and how much ownership you take over your own development. In return, we're going to invest heavily in you. You'll get regular coaching, role plays, call reviews, structured training, and a manager whose job isn't just to inspect your number, but to help you become a better seller. As you prove you're ready for more, you'll have opportunities to take on more responsibility and continue growing your career at Topline Pro. Growth here isn't about waiting your turn. It's about showing you're ready. ⚡ WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE This is a high-energy, high-expectation sales environment. You'll be in our new downtown Nashville, TN office five days a week, surrounded by people who want to get better and want the people around them to get better too. Your first 2 weeks will be hands-on training in our Brooklyn, NY headquarters! In this role, you'll: - Prospect home service business owners through high-volume calling, email, and other outreach. - Learn how to run great discovery conversations and understand what actually matters to a small business owner. - Demo Topline Pro and connect our product to the problems you're hearing. - Manage your own pipeline and learn how to move opportunities from first conversation through close. - Participate regularly in coaching, role plays, call reviews, and team training. - Get direct feedback and be expected to put it into practice quickly. - Learn from your teammates, share what's working, and contribute to making the entire team better. - Use our CRM and sales tools consistently to manage follow-ups, prioritize opportunities, and stay organized. - Learn how to use technology and AI to work smarter and become a more effective seller. - Own your results. We'll give you coaching, tools, support, and opportunity, but what you do with them is up to you. 🎯 WHO TENDS TO THRIVE HERE We're less concerned with whether you've sold SaaS before and more interested in the person you're becoming. You'll probably love this environment if: - You want to get really good at something. You're not just looking for your next job. You want to build skills and a career. - You're coachable. You don't just listen to feedback. You try it, practice it, and come back better. - You're competitive with yourself. You care about winning, but you're especially motivated by seeing yourself improve. - You're resilient. Sales involves rejection. A bad call, bad day, or bad week doesn't change how you show up tomorrow. - You're curious. You ask questions, want to understand why something works, and aren't satisfied memorizing a script. - You work hard. There's no shortcut around the reps required to become great at sales. - You take ownership. When something isn't working, your first instinct is to figure out what you can do differently. - You're a great teammate. We compete, but not at each other's expense. We share what's working, help each other improve, and celebrate when someone else wins. - You're comfortable with change. We're a fast-growing company and we're constantly learning. Processes, messaging, and priorities will evolve as we get better. - You communicate well. You can build trust with small business owners and communicate in a way that's clear, professional, and human. Previous sales experience is helpful, but it isn't required. We're looking for people with the raw ingredients to become great sellers and the willingness to put in the work to get there. 🚀 WHERE THIS CAN TAKE YOU We want ambitious people. This role is meant to build the foundation for a career in sales, and we want Topline Pro to be a place where you can keep building that career. As you demonstrate mastery of the role, you'll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, work more complex opportunities, and continue progressing as a seller. We don't believe career growth should happen simply because you've been here long enough. Opportunity is earned by showing you're ready for it. If you're looking for a comfortable job where you can blend into the middle of the pack, this probably won't be the right environment. If you're looking for a place that will challenge you, coach you, invest in you, and give you the opportunity to grow faster than you thought possible, we'd love to meet you. 📅 HIRING PROCESS Our interview process is designed to get to know you beyond your resume and give you a chance to get to know us too. We'll be looking for the same qualities throughout the process that we value once you're here: curiosity, coachability, resilience, ownership, communication, and a genuine desire to grow. - Recruiter Screen - Sales Manager Screen - Roleplay - Leadership Screen 🙌 WHAT WE OFFER - $50k base salary with uncapped commissions (OTE=$85K+) + equity package - Full Medical, Dental, and Vision Health Coverage - Computer and workspace enhancements - 401(k) plan (non-matching) - Unlimited vacation, 9 company holidays, including election day, and 1 personal volunteer day a year - Company-paid Wellhub membership for fitness and wellness - Dinner covered with Uber Eats + a stocked kitchen to keep you fueled - A highly collaborative, in-person environment in downtown Nashville, Tennessee - Regular coaching, training, and development designed to help you accelerate your sales career - The opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility as we scale a product that can change the way home service businesses grow 🤝 OUR VALUES - No Bullsh*t: We create meaningful results for our customers and drive growth for our team—ensuring progress and impact are felt every day. We move with urgency, think long-term, and take pride in driving impact. - Boom!: We take time to celebrate each other’s achievements, big and small—at work and in life—because shared success fuels lasting momentum. And we end all team meetings in a “Boom!” 🏠 ABOUT TOPLINE PRO We're building an AI-powered Shopify for service businesses.
