Job description
At R2, we believe that small and medium businesses are the productive engine of society. Small and medium businesses (SMBs) make up over 90% of companies in Latin America, yet they face a trillion-dollar credit gap. Our mission is to unlock SMBs’ potential by providing financial solutions tailored to their needs. We are reimagining the financial infrastructure of Latin America, where SMBs’ financial needs are met without ever having to go to a bank.
R2 enables platforms across Latin America to embed financial services that SMBs can leverage, starting with revenue-based financing. We are a high-performing, close-knit team with talent from organizations such as Google, Amazon, Nubank, Uber, Capital One, Mercado Libre, Globant, and J.P. Morgan.
We are entering a new phase of growth following a strategic investment from Ant International, focused on rapidly expanding our partner footprint, strengthening our credit and underwriting capabilities, and scaling operations across multiple markets. As part of this growth journey, eligible team members have the opportunity to participate in R2’s Phantom Share Program, a performance-based incentive designed to align our team with the company’s long-term success and value creation. We believe in building a culture of ownership, where those who help create value share meaningfully in it.
As a Product Marketing Lead , you will coordinate and scale our marketing stack across our partners, driving customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention. This role will bridge Product, Growth, Data, and our Partners to develop high-impact marketing initiatives that accelerate loan originations and product adoption.
What You'll Do
Own Partner Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns tailored to each partner, market, and segment, maximizing funnel conversion, loan originations, and R2's marketing impact.
Optimize the Customer Journey: Identify growth opportunities across the full customer lifecycle, from offer awareness and acquisition to activation, conversion, repeat borrowing, and retention.
Lead CRM & Multichannel Engagement: Design and scale personalized lifecycle strategies across WhatsApp, email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging, optimizing channel effectiveness and customer engagement.
Strengthen Partner Marketing: Build scalable co-marketing playbooks with partner platforms, including in-app placements, joint campaigns, and coordinated communications to increase product visibility and adoption.
Scale AI-Powered Marketing: Drive the implementation and optimization of conversational AI, AI calling agents, and automated engagement solutions to improve conversion and operational efficiency.
Turn Customer Insights into Growth: Develop a deep understanding of SMB segments through behavioral data, research, and customer feedback, translating insights into actionable opportunities for Product, Marketing, and Partnerships.
Lead Experimentation & Performance: Design A/B tests, define KPIs, and partner with Marketing Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, funnel performance, and incremental originations, continuously optimizing ROI.
Build Scalable Marketing Operations: Develop automated workflows, segmentation frameworks, and repeatable processes that enable efficient execution across partners and Latin American markets.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment & Compliance: Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, Credit, and Partnerships to execute growth initiatives while ensuring marketing communications comply with local financial regulations.
