Job description

About Us Gridline is here to redefine how private markets operate, making them faster, smarter, and more accessible. We are setting a new standard by building the Turnkey Alternatives Management Platform (TAMP) to help wealth managers run private market programs at scale. As a ledger-native system of record, Gridline provides a single source of truth that tracks the entire investment lifecycle down to the transaction layer, enabling RIAs, family offices, and private banks to manage their private markets business in one place. Our team brings deep experience across both enterprise technology and alternative investments to build the infrastructure layer the industry has always lacked. Backed by an $18.5M Series A led by FINTOP , we are creating the systems and structuring the data required to define the next generation of private market investing. Are you up to the challenge? The Opportunity We are seeking a Sr. Account Executive to own and scale revenue growth within the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) channel. As a senior, quota-carrying seller, you will be responsible for executing Gridline’s go-to-market motion, closing new business, and expanding existing accounts within the private markets ecosystem. This is an externally facing role for an experienced seller who understands the specific nuances of how RIAs buy technology that serves as the core engine to build, launch, run, and manage private market vehicles. You must be able to navigate complex stakeholder groups - including CEOs, CCOs, CIOs, COOs, and Principals - positioning Gridline as a long-term platform partner committed to their growth rather than just a vendor. This role offers fully remote flexibility across any major US metropolitan area (excluding NYC), with an uncapped, wide-open territory that gives you the freedom to build, scale, and succeed from day one. This is an amazing opportunity to join Gridline at this inflection point, reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO). In this role you will... Drive Revenue: Own net-new and expansion revenue for your assigned territory, with full accountability for pipeline health, bookings, and deals won. Build Pipeline: Generate and advance a high-quality pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, inbound opportunities, and your existing network of referrals. Close Complex Deals: Personally manage deals from discovery to contract execution, engaging with multiple C-suite stakeholders and decision-makers. Expand Accounts: Drive multi-product adoption across the Gridline platform to maximize customer lifetime value and territory revenue. Operationalize Growth: Maintain rigorous CRM discipline and partner closely with Marketing and Product teams to refine messaging and support demand generation. Represent the Brand: Act as a face of Gridline at industry events and client meetings, simplifying complex fintech concepts into clear value propositions for RIAs and their clients. You have... Experience: At least 5 years of complex enterprise sales experience (ideally selling a fintech and/or wealthtech SaaS product to RIAs, family offices etc.). Ability to Travel: Ability to travel 15 - 20% within your assigned territory for client meetings and industry conferences. Education: Ideally a bachelor's or equivalent in a related field (finance, economics etc.). Location: This role is 100% remote within assigned territory with a strong preference for a major regional financial market. We offer... Impact: The opportunity to join a Series A fintech at a high-growth inflection point. Mission-Driven Work: The ability to revolutionize the private markets space and build the industry’s infrastructure layer. Elite Collaboration: A tight-knit team of experienced operators and builders who are passionate about scaling startups. Ownership: A high-autonomy environment where you are encouraged to take ownership and solve complex problems. Full Suite of Benefits: Competitive salary, equity, and flexible PTO, plus robust medical, dental, and vision coverage. Gridline is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, age, marital status, protected veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
