Software Engineer Specialist Description: • Software Engineers research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. • They may also perform the following duties: • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. • Update or enhance existing software capabilities. • Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements. • Maintain databases within an application area. Requirements Experience: • 5 years of experience in software engineering. • 3 year’s experience writing C # code. • 1 year experience developing TAK I2I software enabling STANAG 4817 in the TAK plug in ecosystem over COT messaging. • 2 year’s experience with MK 18 software products (Hydroid VIP, Neptune, and Coin Nexus). • 1 year experience developing TAK WinTAK Plugins, TAK ATAK plugins, and TAK Server Plugins. Education: • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and/ or Information Technology. Location: • San Diego, CA.
