Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Through sophisticated, data-driven forecasting and long-range planning, we anticipate future needs, identify potential constraints, and proactively mitigate risks long before they impact operations. We are the architects of a resilient and optimized supply chain, working cross-functionally to develop the innovative strategies that enable our network to scale for the challenges of tomorrow. As our hardware infrastructure and data center footprint expands exponentially, we face the critical challenge of strategically planning our transportation network to stay ahead of demand. This is not just a logistics operations role; it's a strategic capacity planning opportunity at the heart of our growth engine, driving the efficiency of a $3-4B annual logistics spend. In this pivotal role, you will build the critical planning infrastructure that provides the forecast signals necessary to create robust, forward-looking transportation strategies. You will develop the blueprint that dictates how we scale our transportation capabilities for the next decade, ensuring that our infrastructure can be deployed anywhere in the world with speed, efficiency, and precision. Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably.
