ABOUT SITELINE
Siteline is a fast-growing Series A startup transforming how construction companies get paid, headquartered in San Francisco.
Specialty trade contractors build the infrastructure America runs on, from data centers and schools to highways and hospitals. Yet most are still managing millions of dollars in billing and payments through spreadsheets and manual processes.
We’re changing that.
WHAT PROBLEMS ARE WE SOLVING Construction is the slowest paid industry, with contractors waiting around 96 days to get paid. For those 96 days, subcontractors are funding payroll, materials, equipment, and the cost of actually doing the work - all before seeing a single payment. It’s little wonder they describe themselves as “America’s largest bank”.
Our mission is simple: get subcontractors paid faster. And we’re damn good at it. Siteline customers average just 55 days to payment, and that number keeps falling.
We’re building in a massive, underserved market with no true direct competitor. And while AI is reshaping industries everywhere, the physical infrastructure our customers build isn’t going anywhere. Data centers, hospitals, schools, roads, and power infrastructure still have to be built -and the contractors building them need a radically better way to manage their receivables.
WHY ARE WE BUILDING THIS?
Construction software has historically been built for General Contractors. We’re building for the subcontractors actually doing the work.
These businesses are managing millions of dollars on spreadsheets, printouts, ERP reports, and a whole lot of manual work to get paid.
Every project has different billing requirements, different deadlines, and different paperwork. Miss something, and payment can get pushed out another 30 days.
Subcontractors deserve software built specifically for them. That’s why we built Siteline.
ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for an Account Executive to join us at a pivotal stage of our growth. We’ve built a sales playbook that works, now we’re looking for great sellers to execute it and help us scale. The entire US is your territory. You’ll own deals end-to-end, work directly with our Head of Sales, and have close access to Marketing and Product as we continue to grow.
This is a role for someone who loves to sell; competitive, curious, coachable, and hungry to win. You love the hunt: prospecting, cold calling, creating your own pipeline, and turning a cold account into a closed deal.
You know how to create urgency, run a tight process, and close. You’ll get the upside and impact of an early-stage startup, with a proven playbook ready to execute.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
4+ years of closing experience as an AE in tech with a consistent track record of achieving sales targets (bonus: experience in construction technology)
Experience selling $30k+ ACV deals in a quick sales cycle (30-60 days) to mid market companies
Experience selling to finance functions (CFOs, Controllers, AR Managers) and/or tech laggard industries (AEC, manufacturing, agriculture, real estate, healthcare, etc.)
Experience selling against the status quo - creating urgency and convincing customers to move away from spreadsheets, manual processes, or legacy systems.
Ability to own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through demo, negotiation, and close.
You’re a hunter. This is an outbound-first role, and you’ll self-source 50%+ of your pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, and creative prospecting. You have a track record of building and closing pipeline you generated yourself, and genuinely enjoy doing it.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment where cross-functional collaboration is key.
Willingness to travel 10% for on-site demos and trade shows
Bonus: Experience selling a product that integrates with ERPs
WHAT WE OFFER Competitive Salary: We provide a salary that reflects your skills and experience, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. $120k base / $240k OTE (San Francisco, In person)
This role is based in our San Francisco office 4 days per week, with Friday’s being a WFH day.
Health & Wellness Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance to support your well-being, along with wellness programs and resources.
Professional Development: Annual $1K learning stipend to use toward classes, certifications, conferences, or other meaningful career development.
Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive team that values creativity, innovation, and open communication, where your ideas are encouraged and celebrated.
Equity Options: As a startup, we offer equity options to ensure that you share in our success as we grow together.
Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO policy with an encouraged three-week annual minimum.
Team Events: We regularly host team social activities and happy hours, and travel for company wide offs-sites once per year
Company values
Move Quickly, Together
Speed is our advantage, but alignment is our path to victory. We will go farthest, fastest if we work in unison. Prioritize the mission, establish clear owners and deliverables, and execute with confidence.
Reach for the Sky
We are curious, open-minded, and courageous. We challenge ourselves and each other to ask more questions, push boundaries, and deliver excellence every day.
Run Lean
Construction is a scrappy industry where companies must do more with less. Same here. Operate efficiently, optimize strategically, and always get the most bang for our buck.
Be the Steel
Builds fail when the foundation is faulty. The same is true for us. Exercise good judgment, deliver on your commitments, and know your capacity—every base has its threshold, after all. Most importantly, back your teammates. We’re stronger than reinforced concrete when we support each other.
Build Our Fanbase
Our mission is to grow the size of the pie for everyone in construction. We only achieve that audacious goal if we keep our customers front and center. Work tenaciously to build smarter systems that solve real problems for our customers, positively impact their businesses and lives, and make them loyal fans.
Shoot Straight
We speak directly, candidly, and respectfully. We prioritize transparency, err on over-communicating, and understand that differing opinions and perspectives are part of a healthy company. Ultimately, it’s okay to disagree with—but still commit to—the chosen direction.
At Siteline, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and passion will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. We know that diverse perspectives foster the innovation we need to be successful, and we are committed to building a team that encompasses a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and skills. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. Join us!
