Linux Operations: Hands-on experience configuring, operating, and managing software deployed on Linux platforms (service configuration, log parsing, basic networking, and shell automation). API Development & Security: Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, web authentication/authorization standards, and secure coding practices. Database Management: Practical experience working with relational databases, including database design, query optimization, and index tuning. Agile Collaboration: Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively, estimate effort accurately, and deliver working software iteratively within an Agile team. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7 + years of professional software development experience OR High School Diploma / GED , PLUS 11 + years of hands-on technical software engineering experience in lieu of a degree. Hands-on experience building, deploying, and managing applications in AWS (IAM, EC2, ALB, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) or Azure equivalents.
