Pay: $80-85/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance. Remote role, no onsite work but candidates should be prepared to support PST hours. W2 Candidates only Manager Notes • Technical Project Manager embedded with 3 different engineering teams. • Majority of what they do is data engineering, but 1 team handles building of neural networks and there is a group that works on AI/ML too. • Do not need SME in these areas. HM has experience in this. Not easiest to understand if have never worked in it. • Ideally, want to see AI/ML or Data Engineering in background. Theses candidates will get first consideration. • Teams run Scrum on 2 week cadences • This role leads the ceremonies for the 3 teams (data engineering team is 8 indiv + mgr, other 2 teams 3-4 indivs total) • Role requires rigor to lead ceremonies across all 3 teams • HM describes teams are good to work with on the scheduling • Will also be responsible for continuous reporting on the health of the teams • Team performance and projects tracked through Jira. Candidates should have high proficiency in JIRA, comfortable with jira as a task management tool for software development. • Atlassian Suite preferred. Confluence used. Do not use bitbucket / use github • Nice to have –leaning heavily into utilizing of AI. HM uses Claude Code. Will have macbook if want to setup Claude code, built automations, etc. if have experience or interest • Multi-component job – Scrum Master + Technical Project Manager (high fidelity understanding of teams’ major projects). Will attend program meetings where accountable to give statuses for teams. Familiarity with reporting. SDLC. Exposure to data engineering and AI/ML workflows and projects. Nice to have – interest in building own automations through AI (Claude, CoPilot + have own LLM prioprietary GoAI) • TPM VS Scrum Master responsibilities: Will only own timelines to the extent of their team. The majority of the initiatives are cross-team dependent before features ship. Will only be responsible for the component of what their team(s) has to do. May have 3-4 projects of various scales running concurrently across the 3 teams. Probably 80 Scrum Master / 20 Technical Project Mgmt. • The group runs Scrum purely as a framework. Considers “agile” work in progress. Need to have experience running the ceremonies.
