• Design and implement microservices and architectural solutions that improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Build and maintain RESTful services that enable efficient access to data and support enterprise applications across Baxter.
• Leverage Docker and containerization technologies to improve portability, deployment, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and governance requirements are incorporated into application and architecture decisions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI tools, and machine learning capabilities to drive continuous innovation across the platform.
What you ll bring
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in endpoint development, data engineering, software engineering, or architecture, with experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications and services.
• 5 years of experience working with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or a comparable cloud computing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Flask, gUnicorn, SQL, Neo4j, Unix/Linux, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with Docker, Redis, microservices, architectural patterns, and distributed application development; experience with JavaScript, Node.js, UI/UX development, or equivalent technologies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, security, governance principles, and modern application architecture.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing priorities.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field with 12 years of experience, or a Bachelor s degree with 15 years of experience; experience with machine learning and predictive modeling; AWS certification; and architecture-related certifications.
