Job description

About Us Beast Industries is a multifaceted media and entertainment company founded by Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, the most watched person in the world. Renowned for revolutionizing digital content creation, Beast Industries encompasses a diverse portfolio of ventures that extend far beyond its origins on YouTube. With a mission to entertain, inspire, and create significant social impact, Beast Industries operates across various domains including digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and innovative business initiatives. At Beast Industries, we believe in the transformative power of digital media and its potential to entertain, educate, and effect positive change. Our commitment to innovation, creativity, and philanthropy drives us to explore new frontiers, create unforgettable experiences, and build a legacy that inspires future generations. Full Stack Engineer The Opportunity We're doing an AI-first engineering rebuild for a company that already has an audience of 100M+ people. This is a zero-to-one build with no legacy constraints. You're not joining to maintain someone else's code. You're here to build the experiences that define what the Beast community can do beyond watching content, from user accounts and home page to e-commerce flows that convert at scale. You'll work across the full stack, frontend and backend, leveraging AI to ship features at a speed that wasn't possible before. The Product You'll be working, as part of a small and fast-moving team, on the product surfaces that every user touches: account, home page, and e-commerce. These aren't isolated features. They form the connective tissue of the entire experience, and they need to work flawlessly across a wide range of devices, network conditions, and user contexts. That means: User-facing surfaces (account flows, home page, checkout, and purchase experiences) that must be fast, reliable, and conversion-optimized across devices. A frontend that feels seamless whether a user is on a flagship iPhone or a mid-range Android on a slow network. An e-commerce flow where performance directly impacts revenue: every second of load time and every friction point in checkout has a measurable cost. What You'll Do Build and ship user-facing features across account, home page, and e-commerce surfaces using AI coding tools, contributing to a velocity that redefines what a small engineering team can deliver. Take ownership of your features end to end, from development through release, using AI-facilitated QA processes and tooling to maintain high engineering quality. Care about performance — page load times, checkout conversion, crash rates, and render latency are numbers you track and actively work to improve. Collaborate closely with your teammates, contributing to a culture of high standards, fast iteration, and continuous learning. Who You Are AI-Native: You're already burning through tokens and running coding agents daily to multiply your output. Full Stack Engineer: 3+ years of hands-on experience building consumer-facing products across frontend and backend, with a strong eye for design principles and user experience. Performance Obsessed: You notice when something feels slow, you know how to find the bottleneck, and you have a track record of moving the numbers — crash rates, render latency, load times, checkout conversion. Product Minded: You care about why you're building something, not just how. You use data and A/B experiment results to inform your decisions and push back when the approach doesn't make sense. Hands-on experience with at least one mobile or frontend framework (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent) and one backend language. Bonus points for familiarity with modern AI coding tools and AI-facilitated development processes, and prior work at a consumer-scale company. Location: San Mateo, CA (3 days a week in the office) Compensation $155,000 – $194,000 base + equity + benefits Benefits The Perks, Why Work On the MrBeast Team We are redefining what entertainment and storytelling look like at global scale. Every piece of content we publish reaches millions and influences culture in real time. This is your opportunity to lead the team that decides how those moments come to life across every screen. Competitive Salary Generous Medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Dental, Vision and company-paid Life Insurance Company contributions to employee Health Savings Accounts (HSA) 401k Plan with Safe Harbor company-matching Flexible vacation policy and paid company holidays Company-provided technology package Relocation assistance where applicable, including travel and company-provided housing for the first 90 days
