Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead delivery within a
telecommunications OSS/BSS Transformation Program. The Product Owner will define
product vision, manage the backlog, prioritize business requirements, and ensure successful
implementation of OSS and BSS capabilities across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the OSS/BSS product backlog.
- Define product vision, objectives and release plans.
- Translate business strategy into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across business, operations, architecture and delivery teams.
OSS Transformation Responsibilities
- Network Inventory Management
- Service Assurance and Fault Management
- Capacity and Performance Management
- Network Planning, Design and Installation
- Network Operations and Resource Lifecycle Management
- Service Fulfillment and Provisioning
Transformation Program Responsibilities
- Requirements workshops and business process discovery.
- Future-state process definition.
- UAT leadership and release readiness.
- Change management and business adoption support.
Required Experience
- 8+ years in telecommunications only.
- 5+ years as Product Owner, Product Manager or OSS/BSS Transformation Lead.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery and telecom transformation programs.
Preferred Platforms
- Amdocs, Netcracker, Blue Planet, ServiceNow TNI, Salesforce Communications Cloud,
Oracle Communications.
Standards
- TM Forum eTOM, TM Forum SID, TM Forum Open APIs, ODA and ITIL.
