Job description

PLEASE READ THE FULL JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING Demand Generation Manager – Cybersecurity & AI (Fractional | Remote) Location: Remote Working Pattern: Part-Time / Fractional Environment: Early-Stage Technology Venture About the Opportunity Our client is an early-stage technology company developing AI-driven cyber risk intelligence and compliance solutions for organisations operating in increasingly complex security environments. The business is developing a growing portfolio of cyber intelligence and quantum-security solutions and is now looking for a Demand Generation Manager who can help translate that product proposition into market awareness, engaged communities and a qualified pipeline. This is a hands-on opportunity rather than a traditional corporate marketing position. You will be joining a pre-revenue, early-stage venture where the emphasis at this stage is on building market traction, developing the demand engine and contributing to the company's longer-term growth. The engagement is therefore likely to be particularly suited to someone who is comfortable participating in an early-stage venture alongside other professional commitments and is motivated by longer-term participation in the growth and value created by the business , rather than someone seeking a conventional full-time employment structure. Further details regarding the engagement and participation structure will be discussed directly with candidates progressing through the process. Application Please submit your CV together with a short note outlining: • Your experience building B2B demand-generation campaigns • Your hands-on HubSpot experience • Your experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager • An example of a campaign, community or channel you personally helped grow • Any experience you have marketing cybersecurity, technology or other complex B2B products Please read the full opportunity carefully before applying. What You'll Be Doing You will help build and operate the company's early demand-generation engine across digital, community and B2B channels. Your responsibilities will include: • Building and running demand-generation campaigns across LinkedIn, email, webinars and content • Developing market awareness and engagement across relevant cybersecurity communities • Supporting organic social activity across LinkedIn, X, Facebook and other relevant channels • Identifying opportunities to build engaged communities across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok • Managing social content calendars, scheduling, publishing and engagement reporting • Shaping messaging for CISOs, risk leaders, compliance teams, SMEs and innovation leaders • Creating nurture journeys for complex B2B buying committees • Supporting lead generation and conversion activity • Managing and improving marketing automation and lifecycle workflows • Supporting funnel tracking, attribution and performance reporting • Turning technical cybersecurity concepts into clear and engaging market-facing narratives • Testing channels, messaging and campaigns and using the resulting data to improve performance HubSpot & Marketing Automation This role requires genuine hands-on HubSpot capability rather than basic end-user familiarity. You should be comfortable with: • Building and managing workflows • Email sequences • Forms and lifecycle automation • List segmentation • Lead and campaign reporting • Marketing automation processes Experience taking meaningful ownership of HubSpot within a previous organisation will be particularly valuable. Analytics & Performance You should also have practical experience using: • Google Analytics / GA4 • Google Tag Manager • Event and conversion tracking • Tag deployment • Channel attribution • Website and campaign performance reporting The successful candidate should be comfortable using data to understand what is working, what isn't and where activity should be adjusted. What We're Looking For We're particularly interested in someone who combines hands-on digital execution with a genuine ability to build audiences and communities . You may be a strong fit if you have: • Experience within B2B demand generation, growth marketing or digital marketing • A demonstrable track record of generating pipeline rather than simply producing leads • Strong hands-on HubSpot experience, ideally including workflow and automation ownership • Strong practical knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager • Experience managing organic social channels • Experience building and engaging digital communities • Strong written communication and messaging skills • Confidence learning technically complex subject matter • A practical, experimental and delivery-focused mindset • The ability to operate independently within a resource-conscious early-stage environment We are more interested in demonstrable capability and results than job title or corporate seniority . Particularly Valuable Experience in any of the following would be advantageous: • Cybersecurity • AI or emerging technology • Risk and compliance • Financial services or other regulated industries • Account-Based Marketing (ABM) • Webinars and founder-led marketing • Newsletter programmes using Beehiiv or comparable platforms • Audience growth, segmentation and deliverability • Marketing to SMEs • Building communities through Instagram, TikTok or other social platforms Cybersecurity experience is useful but not essential if you can demonstrate the ability to learn complex subject matter quickly and translate it into compelling marketing. Why This Opportunity? The company is entering its next stage with: • An expanding cyber intelligence product portfolio • Active enterprise beta users • Increasing focus on the SME cybersecurity market • Emerging propositions across cyber intelligence and quantum security • Direct access to senior leadership • Considerable autonomy over how demand-generation activity is built and developed For someone who enjoys building rather than inheriting established marketing machinery, this is an opportunity to influence the demand-generation approach from an early stage and see the direct impact of their work. Engagement Structure This is a flexible, fractional engagement within a pre-revenue technology venture . It is designed for someone who understands the nature of participating in an early-stage business and is comfortable with a structure centred on longer-term participation in company growth rather than a conventional package at this stage . The role can therefore be undertaken alongside other compatible professional commitments. Full details of the participation structure will be discussed with candidates progressing through the process.
