Essential Functions
• Support budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation and update of business level budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning analysis using input from program teams, Accounting, and other business partners.
• Build and maintain financial analyses: Maintain and improve Excel models, supporting schedules, and reporting tools used for forecasting, variance analysis, project reviews, and business cases.
• Validate and reconcile data: Collect and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple sources, reconcile reporting differences, and ensure analyses are accurate, complete, and traceable to supporting information.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years proven experience in financial planning and analysis, project finance, financial analysis, or an accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills & PowerPoint skills.
• Working knowledge in the relationships among revenue, costs, gross margin, and cash flow.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to validate calculations, reconcile totals, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring reporting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in project-based finance, government contracting, defense, manufacturing, or another regulated environment.
• Experience preparing financial review presentations for business leaders or corporate finance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Power Query, Power BI, or reporting automation.
• Experience using company-approved AI productivity tools to support analysis, documentation, or reporting, with appropriate validation and protection of sensitive information.
Why This Role Matters
• Contribute meaningful analysis: Help the business understand performance, evaluate risks, and make informed planning decisions.
• Gain visibility: Prepare analyses and presentations used in recurring business and leadership reviews.
• Build finance expertise: Develop practical experience in forecasting, project profitability, working capital, and financial communication.
• Support the mission: Strengthen the financial planning and business processes behind technology that serves the warfighter.
