Job description

At Meter, we are not just installing networks. We are democratizing enterprise grade connectivity. Every deployment brings state of the art networking infrastructure to the places where it matters most, from schools to logistics hubs to retailers serving local communities. The Service Delivery team turns Meter's vertically integrated hardware and software platform into real world networks. Once a contract is signed, Sales hands customers to us. We own the next part of the journey: designing their networks, preparing sites, installing hardware, and onboarding customers onto networks they can rely on from day one. This is a product and technical project management role. You will build operational systems that scale from dozens to thousands of deployments while delivering a clear, reliable, personal experience to customers. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE You own a significant portion of the customer journey. A customer's experience is only as good as what we design after the contract is signed. - You reduce the average time from contract signature to go-live by 25% within your first 12 months. - At least 95% of deployments go live on or before the customer committed date. - Customers receive efficient and reliable network designs that fit how their business operates today and can scale with their growth. - The deployment experience earns high satisfaction from customers and internal teams, who see it as organized, predictable, and easy to work with. - The operating model, standards, and playbooks you create allow Meter to handle more volume without losing quality, and handoffs to Customer Success and Support are clean and consistent. WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL LOOK LIKE Day to day, you own turning a signed deal into a live, reliable network and making that experience excellent. - Lead network design and planning with customers, turning their goals, constraints, and site realities into clear network designs and deployment plans. - Set and maintain clear expectations with customers and internal teams, manage risks and tradeoffs, and keep projects on track. - Develop and refine the standards, tools, and workflows that define how Meter deploys, so that future projects are faster, simpler, and more consistent. - Look across deployments to spot patterns, use data to understand what is working or not, and work with Product and Engineering when changes to our platform or tools are needed. WHERE YOU CAN TAKE THIS ROLE - Build and scale the operational foundation that lets Meter support many more customers without sacrificing quality or customer experience. - Lead larger, more complex rollouts across new markets, industries, and regions. - Shape the internal tooling and processes we use to plan, execute, and track deployments. WHO YOU ARE You like being close to customers and building systems that work in real world conditions. - You think in systems: you don’t just fix issues, you design out their recurrence or push for it to be deterministically repeatable. - You communicate clearly and manage stakeholders with calm precision. - You use data to find leverage, not just to measure activity. - You can think on your feet when plans change, while still protecting quality and timelines. - You are strong with customers: you build trust quickly, ask direct questions, and explain tradeoffs clearly. - You like building or adapting simple tools and workflows, from templates to trackers, so the work runs more smoothly for you and others. - You are motivated by impact, keeping critical infrastructure running where it matters most. WHY METER? The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space. We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive. Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility. COMPENSATION - The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $170,000. - Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
