Job description

About Sensorum Health Sensorum Health is dedicated to helping older adults with chronic conditions stay out of the hospital and healthy at home. By pairing next-generation ambient sensors and advanced AI with a dedicated remote clinical team, we detect early signs of illness and deploy tailored care before a crisis happens. We partner with health plans and medical groups to keep patients healthy, independent, and out of the hospital while driving down unnecessary medical costs. Our Mission & "Why" We are a patient-first team building the care standard we want for our own families. Sensorum was founded after our co-founders witnessed the flaws of a reactive healthcare system up close with their own loved ones and from years working in healthcare. Nearly 90% of older adults want to age at home, yet a structurally reactive healthcare system routinely fails them and costs Medicare an estimated $35 billion every year in avoidable hospitalizations. Why Sensorum? • Massive Growth & Market Momentum : Sensorum is scaling rapidly as we transform value-based care delivery. We are actively expanding enterprise partnerships with leading healthcare organizations like Intermountain Health and some of the nation's fastest-growing Medicare Advantage plans. • Top-Tier Strategic Backing: Our growth trajectory is capitalized by venture leaders including GV (Google Ventures), Wavemaker 360, Operator Partners, Innospark Ventures, and Brighton Health Partners. • World-Class Team & Advisory Board : Our team brings deep operational and technical execution from the U.S. Navy SEALs, Clover Health, Goldman Sachs, Spring Health, Flatiron Health, and Peloton. We are advised by some of the best in the industry from SCAN Health Plan, Humana, Iora Health, and Bamboo Health. Role Sensorum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can accelerate the development of our product as we scale to serve many more patients. You will be directly responsible for the creation of new services, data pipelines, and end-user applications from technical design, through implementation and maintenance. What You’ll Do • Improve our core platform to handle significantly increased patient volume and data load • Optimize internal operations tooling , in Salesforce, our homegrown web application for nurses, and a mobile app for configuring and installing our sensors, to speed up workflows and reduce clinician overhead • Maintain and extend data pipelines for sensor data ingestion and processing • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering to shape pragmatic solutions that work in the field • Support BLE device integrations and troubleshoot edge cases across hardware and software. • Contribute to code quality, testing practices, and system observability • Participate in data analysis that directly informs clinical decisions and improves care quality Tech Stack • Languages: TypeScript, Python • Frameworks: React (front-end), Node.js • Infra: AWS (Lambda, InfluxDB, IoT Core, etc.), PostgreSQL, CDK, Terraform • Tools: Salesforce, GitHub We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally at startups or on small teams • Comfort working across the stack , with a bias toward backend and infrastructure • Strong coding habits, with experience in Python and TypeScript • Exposure to data pipeline development , API design , and performance optimization • Familiarity with AWS and/or Salesforce development is a plus • Not required, but nice to have: experience in healthcare or with BLE / IoT devices • Someone who’s comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys working cross-functionally • Someone who thrives in lean environments and cares about mission-driven work Compensation Top candidates will be offered a competitive compensation package comprising a mixture of cash and equity.
