Job description

About AI Aspire: Based in the heart of Silicon Valley, AI Aspire is Dr. Andrew Ng's advisory firm guiding enterprises through their AI transformation journeys. The firm is led day-to-day by its Managing Partner Kirsty Tan, whose deep enterprise consulting experience brings fresh leadership to the firm's mission of helping large organizations harness the power of AI. Our mission is to reshape global industry with AI, helping enterprises become the AI-native leaders of their industries - delivering real impact through integrity, expertise, and adaptability. Through AI Aspire, Dr. Ng continues to leverage the flywheel effect of his broader ecosystem, including AI Fund and DeepLearning.AI, to accelerate responsible and effective AI adoption across industries. About the Role: We are looking for a Marketing, Communications and Events Lead to help us tell the AI Aspire story and grow our presence across the enterprise AI ecosystem. This is a multifaceted role that spans communications, content, marketing, and event production — and it requires someone who is genuinely AI-forward, highly organized, and excited about working at the forefront of enterprise AI transformation. You will own our external presence end to end — from crafting thought leadership content and managing communications to producing world-class events that bring together senior leaders and key voices in the AI space. The ideal candidate is someone who has worn many hats at an early-stage company, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can move fluidly between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution. This is a builder role — you will be creating things from scratch and making them excellent. Key Responsibilities: Develop and own AI Aspire's external communications strategy, including thought leadership content, newsletters, social media, and press. Build and tell a compelling, consistent narrative about AI Aspire's mission, work, and impact across all channels. Plan and execute high-quality events, from intimate CEO roundtables to larger industry gatherings, that deepen relationships and grow our ecosystem. Support business development efforts through marketing materials, outbound campaigns, and partner communications. Manage relationships with media, partners, and key stakeholders across the AI ecosystem. Use AI tools to increase the quality and efficiency of marketing and communications output. What We Are Looking For: Experience in marketing, communications, or PR — ideally at an early-stage technology or AI company where you wore many hats. Strong writing and storytelling skills: you can craft a compelling narrative and adapt your voice for different audiences and channels. Hands-on event planning and production experience. Genuine interest in AI and the ability to understand and communicate complex AI concepts to a general business audience. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. A networked, outgoing personality — you are comfortable reaching out cold and building relationships from scratch. AI-forward: you use AI tools daily and are always looking for ways to leverage them to do more with less. Nice to Have: Experience at a high-growth AI or edtech company. Background in enterprise sales or go-to-market strategy. Existing network in the AI or enterprise technology ecosystem.
