Driven by deep customer obsession, we are committed to the mission, outcome, and to each other. We bring these commitments to life through three core behaviors: ownership and collaboration, trust through outcomes and impact, and a challenge culture with ongoing feedback. Ready to make an impact at the company pioneering security transformation in the AI era? Join us at Zscaler. Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Marketing Information Technology to bridge marketing strategy and enterprise technology by architecting and scaling AI-enabled solutions. Reporting directly to the Director, Marketing Information Technology in a hybrid capacity (3 days in office) based out of Santa Clara, CA, you will pair deep marketing domain expertise with technical and project management excellence to optimize operations. Sitting at the intersection of marketing operations and applied AI, you will champion an outcome-driven approach focused on reducing SLAs, accelerating pipeline growth, and driving enterprise adoption and measurable ROI.
What you'll do
Partner directly with the Director, Marketing Information Technology and cross-functional leadership to translate business objectives into scalable technical roadmaps
Scale AI-enabled workflows across demand generation and Sales Development Representative operations to reduce SLAs, improve conversion rates, and accelerate pipeline velocity
Design technical specifications to capture, process, and activate key signals across demand generation, customer churn, renewals, and opportunities
Analyze cross-system data using advanced SQL accelerated by generative AI tools to uncover strategic insights for executive decision-makers
Manage end-to-end execution of cross-departmental initiatives while tracking user adoption, system ROI, and data compliance standards
Who You Are
You are a strategic thinker who deeply understands lead lifecycles, marketing funnels, and enterprise architectural connectivity.
You are an innovation-driven problem solver who proactively leverages AI to streamline analytical workflows and enhance sales productivity.
You possess strong hands-on technical skills with a proven talent for troubleshooting complex data flows and cross-platform integrations.
You are an outcome-focused partner who measures true Information Technology success through end-user adoption and sustained business ROI rather than deployment alone.
You are an exceptional communicator who collaborates seamlessly in a hybrid environment to align Information Technology execution with business vision.
What We're Looking for
Demonstrated proficiency utilizing AI tools to accelerate BRD generation, user story mapping, and technical business analysis workflows
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical Product Manager supporting Marketing Information Technology, Sales Development Representative Operations, or Revenue Operations
Deep expertise in lead management architecture, including leads, contacts, campaigns, campaign members, and funnel progression in Salesforce
Hands-on ability to troubleshoot, debug, and design integrations across complex CRM, marketing automation, and enterprise data platforms
Advanced SQL capabilities with proven experience extracting, modeling, and analyzing multi-source datasets across modern cloud data stacks
Demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-departmental technology initiatives from discovery through delivery
What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience applying generative AI technologies to enhance demand generation and architecting automated signal-detection engines to identify pipeline opportunities
Familiarity with enterprise data governance, privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and ethical AI deployment standards across customer-facing systems
Active certifications in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant) or accredited artificial intelligence/machine learning certifications
