Job description

About the company At Covera Health, we're on a mission to improve healthcare by making every diagnosis more accurate. Every year, millions of patients receive imaging that shapes life changing medical decisions. Yet too often, important findings are missed, patients struggle to access high quality imaging, and the healthcare system treats radiology like a commodity instead of one of the most critical moments in a patient's care journey. We're changing that. Covera combines clinical expertise, advanced AI, and one of the industry's largest radiology quality datasets to help detect disease earlier, improve diagnostic accuracy, and give clinicians greater confidence in every decision they make. Better diagnoses lead to better treatment, fewer unnecessary procedures, lower healthcare costs, and, most importantly, better outcomes for patients. In 2026, Covera and Medmo came together to create the first platform designed to support the entire radiology journey. From helping patients find and schedule high quality imaging, to coordinating care, to ensuring the accuracy of every diagnosis, we're building a connected experience that simply hasn't existed before. Backed by Insight Partners, our platform supports nearly 6 million people across Fortune 10 and Fortune 100 employers, three of the five largest national health plans, and thousands of value based primary care physicians. This is an exciting moment to join Covera. We're building technology that is helping detect serious conditions earlier, improving the quality of care for millions of patients, and redefining what healthcare can be. If you're excited by meaningful work, ambitious teammates, and the opportunity to help save lives through better healthcare, we'd love to meet you. About the role Covera Health is looking for a Product Manager to own and expand our products, including Protect AI and Protect Seniors, along with new products as they are added. As part of the Product team, you will work closely with Engineering, Clinical, and other internal teams, and with customers, to understand what employers, health plans, and providers need and turn it into well-built products. Much of Covera’s product work happens in the background: platforms, APIs, data, and AI. Customers see the results mainly as metrics and reporting, such as monthly, quarterly, or annual presentations and spreadsheets, rather than through a polished user interface. This role is for a technically strong product manager who is energized by that kind of platform work. In this role, you will be expected to: Customer & Stakeholder Discovery: Work with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, AI, Clinical, Operations) and directly with customers to understand their needs from a clinical and business standpoint, and translate them into product direction. Vision & Roadmap: Own the product vision and roadmap for your products, with a focus on expanding existing products and supporting new ones. Platform & API Delivery: Work closely with the Engineering and AI teams to design and deliver products, including platform capabilities and API specifications. Requirements: Write detailed, comprehensive product requirements, and ensure traceability of requirements from stakeholders across product releases. Technical Review: Review specifications and technical design documents and provide timely, meaningful feedback to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle. Product Strategy: Identify gaps in existing products and use them to inform an overarching product vision, rather than adding band-aids to existing systems. Success Metrics & Reporting: Define success metrics and the reporting customers receive, ensuring that products demonstrate measurable impact. AI-Enabled Discovery & Delivery: Use AI tools, including AI-assisted prototyping, to test ideas quickly and move faster in discovery, analysis, and delivery. Process Leadership: Champion best practices and good processes for planning, documentation, development, testing, and delivery across teams. Communication: Communicate product priorities, progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership. Requirements: 8+ years of relevant professional experience. We value experience that brought real value to the work, such as product management, engineering, or other roles that built relevant skills, over years spent only in product management titles. Strong technical background, with comfort working on platforms, API specifications, and data in the background rather than on user interface design. Experience in healthcare, ideally in healthcare SaaS or health technology. Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and JSON. Ability to analyze data to help answer product and business questions. Hands-on experience using AI tools for rapid prototyping, and comfort working with AI-forward products. You do not need to write production code. Ability to work with both internal teams and customers, including customers who experience the product through metrics and reports rather than a user interface. Experience writing detailed product requirements and reviewing technical design documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced, start-up or growth-stage environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Passion for improving the quality of healthcare for millions of patients. Experience with Databricks preferred. Clinical or healthcare training or exposure, such as nursing, medical school, or a biomedical background, preferred. Exposure to radiology helpful but not required. Experience at a large technology company preferred. AI at Covera At Covera Health, AI is not a novelty. It’s a core part of how we work. Every team member is expected to actively use AI in their day-to-day role, and we invest in building that fluency across the organization. If you lean into new tools and are energized by what’s still possible, you’ll fit in. Benefits Comprehensive medical plans - choose from three plans, including one with 100% of premiums covered for you and your dependents Vision & Dental Flexible Time Off - take the time you need, when you need it Generous company wide holidays - 16 in total 401(k) Retirement Plan Annual Professional Development Stipend to invest in courses, books, or any other professional development related activity Annual Wellness stipend for fitness, mental health or other wellness expenses We may use automated tools or AI to assist in reviewing applications. The minimum and maximum base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, expertise and location. Final compensation decisions may occasionally fall outside of the posted range. Salary ranges are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted in response to market trends and company needs. At Covera Health, we strive to build diverse teams that reflect the people we want to empower through our technology. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
