Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud computing, data engineering, AI, and data management, and provide guidance on major technology and platform decisions.
Collaborate with Baseball R&D groups to optimize the storage, cleaning, querying, and delivery of datasets to solve complicated problems.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Work experience in data architecture, data engineering, database development, and ability to design and build a bronze/silver/gold data architecture.
Fluency with SQL and Python in an ETL/ELT context.
Proven experience leading and developing team members, whether through direct people management or a team lead capacity.
