About Rue Four
Rue Four is the AI clinical experience company powering automations for daily clinical workflows (DCWs) in a more than $400B medical industry that still runs on sticky notes, spreadsheets, texts, and disconnected software. We help busy clinicians, their people and their teams operate more efficiently by delivering best-in-class experiences across procurement, inventory management, and other critical practice workflows.
Backed by leading venture capital firms including Kleiner Perkins, Inspired Capital, and Abstract Ventures, and built by a team from Uber, DoorDash and Amazon, Rue Four is on an ambitious mission to simplify the medical practice day-to-day.
We've grown 40x since launching last year, entirely through word of mouth, and we're now building the enterprise sales motion that will take Rue into 2027 and beyond.
About The Role
Rue Four is hiring a Founding Enterprise Account Executive to bring Rue to the largest, most complex practices in the country, like multi-site medical groups, management services organizations (MSOs), and PE-backed practice platforms. You'll join a small, early sales team as one of the first sellers dedicated to enterprise, working directly with our founders to land the logos that define the category.
This is an individual contributor role. You'll own enterprise deals from first meeting to signature, mapping stakeholders across clinical, operations, procurement and finance, building ROI cases that replace legacy systems, and rolling Rue out across every location a customer runs.
This is a high impact, high ownership role. Every deal you close brings Rue to dozens of clinics at once and shapes how we sell to enterprise going forward.
This role is onsite at our Union Square office in New York City.
What you will do
• Find and close new enterprise customers. Build your own pipeline into multi-site groups, MSOs and practice platforms, and own every deal through contracting and close.
• Sell to the whole buying committee. Win over practice owners, medical directors, COOs, procurement and finance with a clear ROI case built from real discovery.
• Structure new kinds of deals. Shape pilots, rollouts across locations and pricing with our founders, and negotiate contracts that set the template for enterprise at Rue.
• Grow your accounts and build the playbook. Stay close to customers after signature to drive adoption across locations, and share what you learn with Product and every future AE.
• Run a tight process. Keep Salesforce clean, forecast reliably, and consistently beat your number.
What you bring
• 5+ years closing in B2B or enterprise sales, with a consistent record of beating quota (President's Club or top rankings are a plus)
• Experience running long sales cycles with many stakeholders and closing large deals
• You've built your own pipeline and opened doors without much marketing or SDR support
• Comfortable selling on ROI and handling complex contracts and negotiations
• Proficient in Salesforce or a similar CRM
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, and at ease in a room of executives or physicians
• Preferred: experience selling at a healthcare or AI startup, ideally to medical practices, surgeons or provider groups
• Bonus: experience as an early or founding seller
What we're looking for
• You move fast, create structure from chaos, and don't wait for a perfect playbook
• You set goals well beyond what's expected of you, and hit them
• You find a way to win without big-company resources
• High ownership, high urgency, low ego, and serious attention to detail
• Excited to work directly with founders and build the enterprise motion from the ground up
Compensation
The compensation for this role is 350,000–400,000 OTE (base + commission) plus founding equity.
