Job description
Job Title: Amazon Business Analyst
Title of Supervisor: Vice President, Ecommerce Sales
Job Location: Mooresville, NC
Company Website: www.greenworkstools.com
Company Summary:
As a rapidly growing global manufacturer of residential and commercial products, Greenworks is leading the charge toward a more powerful and sustainable future. With over 20 years of research and development, including over 1000 patents in outdoor power equipment, power tools, and lifestyle products, we’re pushing the limits of what battery technology can do to improve the quality of work and life.
Position Summary:
Be the analytical engine for the Amazon business. Build a trusted view of performance, investigate changes at the ASIN and category level, and turn findings into decisions on assortment, inventory, pricing, promotions, advertising, and profitability. This role supports account owners; it does not replace commercial or Amazon relationship ownership. Responsibilities:
Own recurring Amazon performance reporting and data quality, reconciling Vendor Central, advertising, operational, and Finance inputs.
Deep-dive sales changes by ASIN and category, separating traffic, conversion, average selling price, availability, and promotional effects.
Analyze inventory, forecasts, purchase orders, and service metrics to identify lost-sales risks and prioritize recovery opportunities.
Evaluate promotional and advertising results alongside retail sales and margin; identify where investment creates profitable growth and where it does not.
Track profitability drivers, including Net PPM, funding, deductions, and mix, in partnership with Finance.
Build concise weekly business reviews, exception alerts, and decision-ready recommendations; improve and automate repeatable analysis where practical.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years in business analytics, retail analytics, eCommerce, finance, or a related analytical role; equivalent experience considered.
Advanced Excel skills and experience building dependable reporting from multiple data sources; Power BI and SQL preferred.
Ability to investigate a business question, validate numbers, explain drivers, and recommend an action.
Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, or consumer-products experience preferred.
SUCCESS MEASURES:
Trusted numbers; faster identification of risks and opportunities; fewer manual reporting steps; analysis that changes commercial decisions.
Important Employment Requirement: Candidates selected for employment must successfully complete Greenworks' required pre-employment background check and drug screening. An offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of these requirements in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
Important Work Authorization Notice: Greenworks will not offer sponsorship for employment-based visa status (including, but not limited to, H-1B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position. Accordingly, all applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.
Greenworks is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act) with respect to employment opportunities.
