SCHOOL IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST (part-time)
DO YOU:
have a passion for instructional technology, the commitment to support student achievement, and the critical thinking skills that will set our staff and students up for success in college and beyond?
believe that potential, not zip code, should determine a student’s trajectory for their future?
believe in the power of being a girl and that all students have the potential to graduate from high school, go to college, and succeed in life?
possess the willingness to collaborate with your colleagues and our school families, doing “whatever it takes,” to make our vision for our students a reality?
If so, you are a great candidate to work at Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington and Spark Academy, and we encourage you to apply for our current School IT Support Specialist
position .
At the heart of GLOW Academy is a focus on “whole girl” education. We seek to foster the growth of leadership and confidence in our students and build and sustain family support, all while engaging all of our students in a rigorous college preparatory program. This means that GLOW emphasizes the following areas to ensure that each girl has a successful 6-12 experience and continues on to college: leadership development, early college and career awareness, health and wellness and expanded opportunities in science, technology, math and the arts.
Spark Academy offers reimagined early care and learning with a safe inspiring indoor and outdoor learning environment, a comprehensive data proven curriculum, collaboration with support agencies with a facility design that includes space for early intervention when needed, and an inclusive approach that includes families in their children’s most important years.

We’re looking for educators who believe that family and community partnerships are crucial and who build relationships that support student learning and success. We value a hunger for feedback and the desire to engage in an ongoing process of reflection and growth for students and faculty.
The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional technology and network management , ideally in a charter school environment, and feels competent to work in a diverse and ever-changing learning environment. We are looking for staff who understand that learning is a lifelong endeavor and who wish to continue to grow and learn as professionals, taking risks, and refining their skills for the benefit of the students we serve.
