Job description

OUR VISION Health systems still run critical operations like staffing, labor planning, and capacity on spreadsheets, phone calls, and guesswork. Vitalize is building the AI operating system for how health systems manage labor and capacity. The impact is real: we save hospitals millions in unnecessary labor spend, give clinical leaders back 10–20 hours every week, and are often the reason staff and leaders stay. We’re trusted by leading health systems across the country and have raised more than $31M from top healthcare and technology investors, including our own custo OUR VALUES We hire and grow everyone against the same four values. Each one comes from a real Vitalize story—interview with us to hear them! - 🚗 Push the Car. Step in regardless of role. We help wherever we're needed, own problems end to end, and don't stay in our lane. People can count on us. - 🏥 Premier 1K. We show up for our customers, always. Nearly everyone visits a customer site in their first month, and customer feedback informs everything we do. - 🗣️ Run Towards the Ugly. Name the ugliest truth first, then propose the fix. Candor over comfort—we call out what's broken, and never get complacent. This shapes our craft. - 💡 Think Bigger Fridays. See the gap, fill it—no permission required. Every decision is an experiment: we run it, let the results decide, and drive real impact from day one. ABOUT VITALIZE’S DEPLOYMENT TEAM Our team is the engine behind Vitalize's growth as we scale our deployment motion from 30 to 300+ hospitals. We own the most complex, highest-stakes enterprise rollouts, and our work directly shapes how new product lines and expansions land with customers. These are the moments that unlock multi-million-dollar ARR, long-term customer success, measurable ROI, and most importantly, real impact for the clinicians and staff using Vitalize every day. THE ROLE You’ll embed directly with nursing executives, hospital operations leaders, finance, and IT to understand how their organizations actually function—not just how they think they function. You’ll diagnose operational bottlenecks, align cross-functional stakeholders, drive organizational change, and architect deployments that fundamentally reshape how health systems staff and operate. For our customers, you aren’t just implementing software—you are the face of Vitalize and a trusted advisor helping them transform one of the most operationally complex environments in healthcare. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own complex, multi-month deployments end to end, managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks across several health systems at once so every go-live lands on time and delivers results - Become a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, nursing leaders, and operational stakeholders as they redesign how labor is planned, staffed, and managed across their health systems - Align executives and cross-functional stakeholders across nursing, operations, IT, finance, HR, PMO, labor relations, and legal, keeping everyone clear on decisions, owners, and next steps through enterprise-wide go-lives - Design and continuously refine repeatable deployment playbooks for academic medical centers and complex, multi-union health systems - Develop a predictable launch motion for new system integrations, including greenfield HRIS and payroll builds - Partner directly with GTM and Customer Success on the internal flows, tools, and processes that drive long-term client success - Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to build and iterate on new product lines, driving ARR growth through expansion WHAT YOU’LL BRING - Clear communication: You communicate with clarity and confidence across every audience, from frontline clinicians to C-suite executives. You simplify complex ideas, navigate difficult conversations, and build alignment proactively - Deployment and project management expertise: You’ve managed complex, cross-functional deployments from planning through go-live. You anticipate risks, prioritize well, and bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving environments - Credibility with clinical teams: You partner with nurses, physicians, and hospital staff as a consultant, not just a project manager. You listen first, learn their workflows, and earn trust by solving problems alongside the people doing the work every day - Change management experience: You know successful deployments depend on people, not just technology. You spot resistance early, build buy-in across stakeholder groups, and help organizations adopt new ways of working - A strong sense of ownership: You take initiative without waiting for direction, thrive when things change quickly, and always look for ways to improve processes and move work forward BENEFITS - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Flexible PTO - Unlimited travel budget to visit customer sites - Twice-yearly company off-sites - Free meals in the office - $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible employees - Desk setup reimbursement - Commuter benefits - Monthly gym/wellness stipend - An awesome office in Jackson Square, steps from the water
