Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience. • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on development in Go (preferred) or Python. • Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) using containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and experience using Git-based repositories, automated testing frameworks, and build pipelines. • Practical experience with Site Reliability Engineering concepts such as reliability targets (SLIs/SLOs), auto-scaling, distributed systems reliability, or incident response. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with CDNs (e.g., Akamai, CloudFront, Fastly, Cloudflare) or streaming media delivery systems. • Understanding of video streaming technologies such as HLS, DASH, manifests, origins, or content routing. • Experience building systems that support global scale, multi-region deployments, or high availability architectures.
