About the role Stockton Mortgage is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of sales employees within a Stockton branch. The Sales Manager supervises junior employees to generate mortgage production and guide the efficient and profitable operation of the team. A Sales Manager reports to a Branch Manager who oversees and facilitate business planning and recruiting efforts for the entire branch location. The Sales Manager role is responsible for monitoring and tracking sales goals and objectives for employees on the sales team. Essential Duties • Managing sales team pipeline; holding team members accountable for minimum standards and production goals • Holding regular meetings with sales team staff to relay updates and discuss performance • Ensuring sales team members follow “up-the-ladder” reporting, funneling questions first to the Sales Manager before the Branch Manager • Developing technical knowledge of systems, products and technology available to sales team employees • Become familiarized with Company policies and procedures applicable to the role Who you are • 1+ years’ experience in mortgage sales management • 3+ years’ mortgage origination experience • Proven track record of meeting mortgage sales goals • Working knowledge of Encompass and agency automated approval systems • Ability to manage tasks independently and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment • Strong oral and written communication skills Who we are Stockton Mortgage Corporation is full-service, independent mortgage bank headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky and founded in 2001 by David Stockton.
