Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will work within the Google Public Sector Services (GPSS) Department of Defense (DoD) Team to lead cross-functional technology, engineering and operations teams to ensure Google Cloud projects are delivered on schedule and on budget. As an integral part of the GPSS DoD team, you will manage multiple complex technical projects and deliverables, requirements/prioritization, compliance, and reporting for projects to ensure success. You will also manage the planning and execution of statements of work to facilitate customer adoption of Google Cloud technologies and services, as well as collaborating with customer systems engineering and integration teams to meet timelines and customer-specific integration requirements. This position involves coordination across multiple efforts (often with engaging priorities) to support bringing the latest Google Cloud technology to the U.S. Federal Government. Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.
