Job description

ABOUT LUMINAI Healthcare operations have always depended on people to bridge the gaps that technology couldn't. It relies on complex manual work to carry out critical internal processes, yet most health systems don’t have enough resources to properly automate these tasks, leaving them stuck in outdated, labor-intensive SOPs. Luminai structures the chaos, automates the manual handoffs, and deploys end-to-end workflows across every system, providing the integrated intelligence layer to improve processes over time. By delegating to autonomous AI systems those mission-critical workflows that previously expended valuable human time, Luminai allows doctors and administrators to do what they do best: Focus on Patients. We've raised $60M in funding, including our recent Series B led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India), with participation from healthcare-focused Define Ventures and continued support from General Catalyst and Y Combinator. We're backed by some of the best investors in Silicon Valley, including Kevin Weil (Chief Product Officer at OpenAI), Arash Ferdowsi (co-founder of Dropbox), Katie Stanton (former VP Global Media, Twitter), and CEOs of companies such as Flexport, Notion, Front, Ramp, and Twitch. Our team is in-office 4 days a week (Monday - Friday, Wednesday optional WFH) in either San Francisco, California or New York, New York. THE ROLE We’re looking for a Deployment Strategist to own how Luminai is deployed, adopted, and scaled inside customer environments. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into reliable, production-ready deployments that deliver real operational impact. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of strategy, execution, and systems thinking. You’ll be responsible for turning ambiguity into clear deployment plans, driving launches across multiple stakeholders, and ensuring customers see value quickly and consistently. Your work will directly influence customer outcomes, retention, and how the Luminai platform evolves. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own end-to-end deployments for Luminai customers, from post-sale handoff through launch and stabilization - Deeply understand customer workflows, constraints, and operating models to design effective deployment strategies - Translate customer requirements into clear execution plans, timelines, and success criteria - Coordinate closely with Product and Engineering to scope work, sequence dependencies, and unblock launches - Partner with customer stakeholders across Ops, IT, and leadership to drive alignment and accountability - Identify patterns across deployments and feed insights back into product improvements and platform abstractions - Manage risks proactively, surfacing issues early and driving resolution before they impact customers - Run clear communication cadences with customers, including status updates, milestones, and escalation paths - Help build and refine deployment playbooks, templates, and processes to scale delivery as Luminai grows WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3–6+ years of experience in deployment, implementation, solutions, technical program management, or a similar customer-facing role - Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder rollouts in production environments - Strong systems thinking and comfort working with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, workflows) - Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into concrete plans and outcomes - Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives - Bonus: Experience deploying healthcare software, AI-driven products, or enterprise platforms
