KPMG is currently seeking Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice. Responsibilities: • Build / maintain backend services utilizing Dash, Flask, Streamlit, or Django • Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas / queries using PostgreSQL • Implement ORM-based data layers leveraging SQLAlchemy or similar Python tooling • Design / implement scalable APIs, backend services, and data integrations • Develop RESTful services and integrations with internal and external systems • Ensure backend reliability, observability, performance through logging, monitoring, and automated testing Qualifications: • A minimum of five years of technical Backend Web Development / Full-Stack Development experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university • Experience with Python web frameworks (Dash, Flask, Streamlit, Django) and modern database-backed service patterns • Experience with data engineering workflows or operational analytics platforms • Experience developing or deploying Databricks Apps • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
