Cooper Electric Supply, LLC we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career. • What you will do: • Secure business from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer’s facility. • Secure opportunities on customer requirements by working with Cooper’s departments to develop a comprehensive bill of material. • Follow up on all quotations submitted to customers, answer questions/concerns and Help close the order. • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management and other key personnel). • Establish customer specific contracts. • Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory. • Support Sales Engineers in preparing solutions for customers. What you will bring: • Knowledge of industrial electrical products and applications. • Knowledge of Control and Automation products to include PLC’s, HMI’s and VFD’s. • Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms. • Ability to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customers. • Outgoing personality that works well with others. • Ability to speak read and write proficiently in English. • Maintains strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong work detail and organizational skills. • Motivated, Self-Starter with a strong work ethic who can work independently. • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office ©. Physical Requirements and Work Environment • Minimum travel, sitting in vehicle to customer’s place of business or job site, when required.. • Requires close vision with computer and paperwork, distant and peripheral vision for driving and product selection, and depth perception for safety in warehouse and building. • Requires ability to clearly hear in-person and phone conversations. • Primarily light industrial and office work areas. Exposure to construction sites, hard hat and safety sensitive areas. Moderate to high noise level.
