We are looking for a Manager (Senior Account Executive) who goes after the story instead of waiting for one, knows how to engage reporters and create editorial value, and can help a technical executive bring the story to life.
You will lead account programs, counsel clients on executing against strategy, partner with agency specialists, and lead and mentor the account team around you. This is a hands-on role for someone ready to support client relationships and grow toward the next level of leadership.
Golin Ketchum is the most awarded public relations agency of the decade. We create change that matters for our clients and our people. Formed in 2026 from the merger of two iconic PR agencies, Golin Ketchum combines fearless creative and strategic excellence, fueled by Omnicom’s industry-leading data and AI solutions, to uncover powerful insights and execute work that builds and protects the world’s greatest companies. With specialized expertise across consumer and brands, corporate affairs, healthcare, technology, and food, agriculture and nutrition, we deliver integrated, high-impact communications services at scale. At Golin Ketchum, culture matters. We are fiercely ambitious yet fundamentally kind and collaborate obsessively with the best clients in the world.
Want to create change that matters with us? Here are the details:
What You’ll Do:
Lead with earned media. Develop and secure compelling coverage for enterprise and B2B technology brands, and proactively create opportunities across trade, vertical, business and financial, technology, broadcast, and national and local outlets.
Support the account. Manage multiple programs and workstreams, coordinating between the agency and client teams on planning, timelines, reporting, and measurement.
Shape the story. Turn complex technology, product launches, and executive perspectives into narratives that are clear, differentiated, and newsworthy. Write, edit, and present communications plans, points of view, Q&As, and press materials.
Build media relationships. Establish and nurture relationships with the reporters who cover enterprise tech and lead pitching that earns placement on the strength of the story.
Counsel clients. Advise client on executing against strategy, with a point of view on competitors, market dynamics, and media trends. Partner with account leadership on bigger calls.
Think beyond earned. Learn to integrate thought leadership, analyst and influencer engagement, social, and emerging disciplines such as AI visibility and generative engine optimization into program plans.
Develop the team. Coach assistant account executives and coordinators, set a high bar for writing and strategic thinking, and help other junior staff grow their careers.
Grow the business. Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to new business pitches and RFP responses.
What You Have:
