Learn more about us at continued.com . THE MISSION To own and evolve our email marketing program while simultaneously leading and guiding our customer data platform across other digital marketing channels and direct mail. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, marketing operations, data infrastructure, and intelligent automation. You will join a team that is actively investing in centralized audience segment and being AI-first. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage batch-and-blast campaigns — it is for a modern marketer who understands that the future of email, direct mail, and cross-channel orchestration lives inside a well-architected customer data platform. This role reports directly to the Director of Growth Marketing. You will collaborate closely with the data team, growth marketing team members, product, brand, and data automation teams. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Lead the audience segment buildout within our licensed platform: collaborate with our data team to manage audience traits, event taxonomy, identity resolution rules, and apply integration architecture with ESP’s and downstream channels • Own the email marketing program end-to-end: campaign strategy, segmentation, automation flows, A/B testing cadence, and performance reporting • Establish and enforce data hygiene standards, CAN-SPAM and other compliance protocols, and unsubscribe/suppression management across sends and mailings • Collaborate with the data team to maintain a subscriber data governance framework: aid in defining what we collect, how we store it, and how it flows across the stack • Partner with the data team to align CDP data structures to the broader data roadmap and migration project • Drive a cohesive omni-channel strategy by aligning direct mail logistics with digital campaigns to ensure consistent audience targeting, personalization, and suppression. • Lead AI automation adoption across email and direct mail: deploy AI tools for, send-time optimization, predictive segmentation, A-b testing and performance analytics • Manage reporting dashboards that connect marketing channels for engagement to renewal rates, and revenue contribution • Evaluate and recommend additional MarTech tooling to support channel expansion and automation maturity • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on email and related CDP capabilities • Managerial responsibilities of one or more team members WHO YOU ARE You are a data-literate, technically fluent prospect, winback and engagement marketer who is equally comfortable in a CDP workspace as you are building journeys in an ESP. You research and follow trends in marketing technology. You are passionate about data quality. You are energized by collaboration and cross-team success. • 6+ years in email marketing, growth marketing, or marketing automation • Hands-on experience with a CDP — Twilio Segment preferred • Direct experience with a marketing automation platform (specifically with Marketo, or HubSpot. Also Klayvio, Customer.io or equivalent) • Demonstrated ability to design and execute segmentation strategies using first-party behavioral and transactional data • Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other privacy regulations, email deliverability best practices, and list hygiene management • Experience working cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and product teams • Direct mail program experience or exposure to omnichannel orchestration • Experience in a subscription or auto-renew business model • Active, hands-on use of AI tools in a marketing workflow • Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive vertical (healthcare, education, financial services) • Solid familiarity with Marketo YOUR MINDSET • You default to data before opinions — you build the audience, test the hypothesis, and read the results • You are a builder, not just a manager — you are comfortable rolling up your sleeves in the platform while also influencing strategy • You move with urgency and communicate proactively, especially when blockers arise • You are energized by ambiguity and see an evolving role as an opportunity, not a risk • You hold yourself and your work accountable and to a high standard, and you raise the bar for the people around you • You strive for and uplift internal and cross-team accomplishments OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to work from home during core US business hours • Must be located in the United States and be legally eligible to work for us without sponsorship. • Must have the ability to fulfill the job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations • Travel is required for an all-company meeting, and may be required once or twice per year for team or project meetings WHY JOIN US? • Full-time W2 position, work core business hours in your time zone • Work from home with a company-provided MacBook and internet stipend • 21 days of flexible PTO + your birthday + holidays (with flexible substitution) • ½ day Summer Fridays Memorial Day to Labor Day • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision group health insurance, flexible spending accounts, and more • 401k match, professional development budget, robust wellness programs, pet insurance and many more perks and benefits TO APPLY To apply, please submit a cover letter with your application. In your cover letter, we’d love to hear about: 1) why you would make a great addition to our team; and 2) a project achievement you are particularly proud of and why AND/OR something you’ve learned recently, etc. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that we collect and process your personal information as described in our Applicant Privacy Notice .
