Job description

Based in Washington, D.C., Quorum is the leading provider of workflow tools and information services for government affairs professionals globally. We serve over 2,000 customers—including over 50% of the Fortune 100—across 30+ countries. At Quorum, our "product" isn't just our software; it’s our people. We are looking for a 100% remote Business Development Representative to be the engine of our sales efforts. This isn't just a "cold calling" role—it’s an opportunity to learn the art of B2B sales at a high-growth SaaS company and play a direct role in our global expansion. The Impact You’ll Have As a BDR, you are the first point of contact for our future customers. You’ll spend your time identifying key stakeholders at the world's largest corporations and non-profits, initiating conversations about how Quorum can transform their advocacy work. You’ll bridge the gap between marketing interest and closed deals, directly impacting our revenue and company success from day one. About the Revenue Team We take pride in being the first-impression of what it is like to work with Quorum. - We are Solution-Oriented: We strive to understand our buyers’ challenges and recommend solutions that enable them to achieve their goals. - We are Thought Leaders: We follow political news and government affairs trends daily to stay ahead of the curve. - We are Supportive: We foster an environment where peer-to-peer feedback is encouraged to drive both personal and professional growth. - We are Respectful: We earn client trust by taking an intentionally respectful approach to our competition. - We are Growth Drivers: We understand, appreciate, and are motivated by the fact that our everyday work is a critical driver for annual company growth. What You’ll Do - Generate Pipeline: Hit your monthly targets by reaching out to a high volume of prospects via phone and email. - Strategic Analysis: Don't just spray and pray. You'll analyze target accounts and the competitive landscape to tailor your outreach for maximum impact. - Tech-Forward Sales: Use best-in-class sales tools and AI-driven strategies to optimize your conversion rates and manage your pipeline in Salesforce. - Collaborate on Campaigns: Help plan and execute account-based marketing efforts and events to engage our top prospects. About You - The Self-Starter: You’re highly motivated, results-driven, and excited to hit (and exceed) monthly targets and have cold calling experience. - The Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal skills and the "people skills" to build rapport quickly over the phone. - The Problem Solver: You can prioritize tasks, manage your time, and adapt to new technologies with ease. - The Learner: You are interested in B2B sales and want to work in an environment where you can form real friendships while growing your career. - The Professional: You have experience in tech or professional services and are comfortable navigating enterprise-level accounts. Our Work Environment - We are an AI-forward team—AI is built into how we work, think, and grow. - We are a remote-friendly team with flexible work options: work remotely or, if you're in the area, choose to visit our vibrant, sunlit space in our modern, open-concept office in Washington, D.C. - Our office building is located in the heart of downtown DC, easily accessible by metro, bus, and rideshares.
