Risk management and planning. Support the ongoing identification and assessment of biodiversity related environmental risks across the full AWS DC lifecycle--from site selection, through due diligence, design, permitting, operations and decommissioning. Develop and implement strategic plans to address significant environmental risks while creating opportunities for positive biodiversity outcomes--setting ambitious yet achievable improvements.
Implementation and operation. Lead associated environmental training and awareness programs to embed skills throughout the organization.
Performance evaluation. Establish and manage a robust system for monitoring, measuring, and reporting performance of the biodiversity program. Conduct regular assessments of tools and processes being used by the environmental team, collate and analyze biodiversity data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. Present performance reports and recommendations to top management.
